The Gary Lang experience was less than poor. I was reassured that the SuV would be available prior to me driving 100 miles . The unit was literally being sold upon my arrival, yet they allowed me to test drive,. To add insult, I was allowed to sit down at the table, watching the sales manager closing the deal at the cubicle directly next to me. They made no offer to keep my business. The total experience was just obvious.. Sales Orver Service!!! Terrible...

Even though the dealer was able to get me the price I was looking for, the sales rep did not explain anything about warranties, service and other related info about my car. Also I don’t know if it was months end but had to wait a lot to get all my paperwork done. Staff was super friendly though. They could have done a better job.

not willing to negotiate with this truck this vehicle needed all four tires replaced some other things done and they were absolutely unwilling to negotiate even though the truck did sale I hope the person that bought it got a really good deal it was not worth the $7700 they were listing it at!

We were contacted within 24 business hours to come view the vehicle. Because we were going out of town, I wish they would’ve discussed the vehicle price, before our arrival. The price listed on car guru and other websites was not the price we were offered. I wish there would’ve been more transparency regarding the price. I would’ve walked out with the vehicle if we would’ve been on the same page.

The dealer had an advertised price online and didn't honor what CarGurus had listed and they had listed on their website - this was "special pricing" if you met a bunch of different criteria. Since me and my family have purchased here in the past and still service our vehicles here, to say they disappointed an existing customer is an understatement.

The dealer contacted me and had no idea about the financing specials that were listed on it's own website. After I informed them of the deals they tried to tell me it was only for specific vehicles. I took a screenshot showing it included the car I was inquiring about and then I never heard back from them. Very unprofessional and disappointing. With so many dealers available, you could really find one that is knowledgeable and treats you as a valued customer. Would not recommend.

Asked what incentives I qualified for over the phone because I lived 45 min away. I was told they were really busy and could not have a sales rep call me. He was an internet rep and could not provide the info. So I drove the 45 min there only to be told I didnt qualify for all the incentives. Beware the price they had on cargurus no one can qualify for. It had both new car purchase financing incentives as well as leasing incentives. So I drove an hour and a half round trip for nothing. My wife and I had a very positive experience at Gary Lang. I found the vehicle on car gurus with no pictures. I was contacted a few hours later by a customer service manager guiding me to a sales representative. The salesmen Zac had sent me the photos of the vehicle and had me in for a test drive a few days later. A long story short we worked out a deal and my wife and I were very pleased with the whole buying experience at Gary Lang. I would definitely refer others to shop for a vehicle there, and I would consider buying my next vehicle there again.

Kept asking for the window sticker to be emailed to me and I could not get that to happen. Contacted them thru their website again the next day, and the sales manager sent me an email to contact him, so I emailed him and never did hear from him. Yes I was over 100 miles from their dealership but that has never stopped me from purchasing cars, trucks or boats. Traveled 450 miles to purchase my last boat. Maybe they lost interest in me when I said I would be not having a trade in or I would not be financing the vehicle.

Very curtious. Vehicle had rust bubbling up on panel welds. Lots of scratches. I walked away from it. They had another to show me but it was being sold as we were talking . I would go back to them if they had the car I was looking for .

I looked for a long time to find a truck with no rust and the options I wanted. G.Lang had a good selection .And Victor Ramos Worked with my wife and myself to get the payment down so we could afford it. He even gave us a WE OWE for the switch to fix the remote control heated mirror's. If I have any questions or problems with the truck I wouldn't hesitate to bring them to Gary Lang to get them answered or repaired. I think when my wife needs a car we will head back to G. Lang and call on Victor. I thank you for making this truck happen!

Internet price $9,971. I asked what the total out the door price would be. Sales person said she could not give that information over the phone. I asked why. She said that only the sales manager can give a final price. I asked to talk to the sales manager. Put on hold for awhile. Person came back, sales manager busy, I would have to come in. I asked if the $9,971 price listed would be honored, I am 154 miles away. She said that it would be between me and the sales manager. I explained that I would be financing through my local credit union and would be bringing a check and would need the amount for the check to be made out for. She said "we do not do business that way". The price is clearly listed. I am sure the documentation fees, sales tax, license and title would not be hard to calculate. I am sure this is a "bait and inflate" scheme. Not likely anyone is going to go in and purchase this vehicle for the asking price.

We travel 2 hours from downtown rush hour Friday to Gary Lang Group in order to see the car that was supposed to be have been on their lot ready and available to review. It was not on their site. We traveled another 25 minutes to a bar where it was be displayed in parking lot. Sales people were polite. Reviewing car in dark bar parking lot not the most desirable situation . I was not offered a test drive not sure why since they took copy of driver's license.The car as listed in Car Gurus for $27,599.00 was not what was posted in car window. it was posted at $29999.00. No explanation for discrepancy in price.

Was very interested in buying this car at this price. Several questions went unanswered and I finally realized this was a lost leader that really wasn't for sale. It shows 400 miles but was told it had over 4-6K miles. I've probably received over 15 e-mails from this dealership but it was just running around in circles. Really just a waste of my time.

I was told the car was there drove 55 minutes to the dealer ship. On arrival I am told they will have the vehicle brought up front ASAP. I wait 25 minutes to be told they can’t find the vehicle. Didn’t offer to call me when they do didn’t offer to show me comparable vehicles. Just said Sorry and let us walk away.

I was very disappoint with the customer service. The internet response was good and personal but then you get to the dealer and it is very uninvited. All the emails saying can't wait to meet you. Set up a appointment so the truck was ready for test drive. My wife and i get there and the sales manager that we were suppose to meet didn't even come out of his office to greet us then we had to wait over 20 minutes for sales guy to find the truck. Then finally went to take it for a test drive and the sales guy hopped in the back seat which i can't stand. Then he tells me where to drive it which happen to be around the block with a 25 mph speed limit. On top of it all the internet price was 62500 then i told him i was using employee discount so he came back with a price of 63800 with the employee discount so it went up 1300 then insulted me with a very low trade in price so I left and will not return.

Stay away they lie and cheat they had an internet price of $28,222 and then after haggling online they dropped the price to $26,222, sent it to in writing but on the day of purchase they upped their price to 32,900 saying that the internet girl made a mistake.

I went in thinking it was 50/50 on buying a new car. After meeting a salesman Josh, I told him what I wanted to pay for the car (I had done a lot of research). Then what my trade was worth. He walked away, came back 3 minutes later and said "we have a deal". Part of the deal was to put $5000 down. A few minutes later the finance guy came out, as I had already arranged financing through my bank, He said he knew the bank loan officer and had called him to reduce our rate to make the payments lower. With the new lower rate the 5,000 down wasn't needed and he threw in a 2 year extended warranty. Who does this? No haggling, arguing, threatening to leave. Just nice people to do business with. My advice is that if you are in the market for a Chevy,Buick, Cadillac, don't walk, run to Gary Lang Auto Group.

The Unreal Vehicle price driving for more than an hour to get the answer was quoted by another department responsible for him. I don't understand the value they used to evaluate old cars. You can use kbb to evaluate their old cars, their prices and yours. By comparison, it is not half as expensive as KBB's cheapest car and will not come to this company.

Joe, I am sorry about experience.  The KBB is just a guide and they don't purchase the vehicles.  We use market-based pricing to evaluate trade-ins.  This is based on real time data offered to dealers from sales with-in 150-mile radius.  We decided the amount of reconditioning that is would take to make the car presentable a potential buyer and they are price it accordingly

Wisconsin buyers beware - the state of Illinois advertises prices that seem more competitive than Wisconsin. This is because Illinois dealerships stack promotions that virtually no one would qualify for, deceptively making their prices seem lower. I drove 60 miles to this dealership only to find the actual price of the vehicle 10% higher than advertised. Then, after arriving, I felt pushed and herded through. Rather than seeking to know me and my needs, they instantly started talking monthly payment. I don't like that. I probably wouldn't shop here again.

Let me first apologize for any confusion on the pricing.  Illinois and other surrounding states have rebates that are may not be eligible.  For instance the Chicago Auto show rebate is only available to some Wisconsin residents within a certain area and when Wisconsin has an auto show these rebates are not available to all Illinois residents,  I am very sorry this happened.

The counter offer to my $15,000 offer was 0% for 84 months at $299 a month. That equals $25,116. $10,000 more than what I wanted to pay AND the car was marked $17,466 online at the time. It looks like the online price for that SUV has been changed and now $26,990. Not a good experience at all.

Called prior to travelling to the dealer (50-miles) and they claimed auto was in-stock, also received an e-mail while I was actually siting at the dealership stating a salesperson personally checked that the car was available; the car had been sold prior to my arrival.

Quite possibly the easiest caffeine buying experience I've ever had. Sales people were great and up front. They worked on price to make the de happen. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because the carb was quite dirty when I got there and ever even got delivery derailed after I bought it. My rate sucks but that's my own fault. All in all a great experience.

Dealer quoted me a price $100.00 over Car Gurus stated price. They said they didn't set that price and would not come down. They said that other dealers also would not probably honor the CarGurus price either, which I found out to be true at the next dealer I went to. Car price was $300 more than CarGurus listed price. Wound up buying from a the third dealer who knew I did some research on the cost, saved $1500 dollars. It was worth the time and effort to find a fair priced vehicle.

It's a car dealership. You have to fend off the environmental protection package, ponder the worth of the extended warranty, etc. The coffee was really good, they had snacks. They did not fill up the tank of gas but then on my trade-in the tank was nearly empty so there you go. The salesman was nice.

Asked for photos of this vehicle several times, as there were no photos posted when this Envoy listing first surfaced. Never got the photos from the dealer. Was forced to wait many days until the photos were added to the actual listing. Wasn't even notified that pics were now posted to the listing. Dealer never sent photos as requested to my email. Would not buy a car from a dealer that can't even send photos to a customer that is interested in an eight-year-old used car.

I finally bought from them and their deal was the best. No one got even close. However, it took some hassle to finally get in touch with a guy who knows how to deal with internet sales. Initially, I was bounced between three guys who would try to trick me into some weird pricing tricks, such as lower OTD price by hiding some cost in "out of pocket" or in "customer contribution". Those lines were of course somewhere between taxes and registration, so easy to miss. That is the reason 4 stars. If not that, would have been 5 stars. Also, taxes were messed up... after agreeing to a deal, so we had unpleasant surprise after arriving (I drove from Lansing, MI). Finally, I got in touch with Joshua (internet sales manager) who spent about 3 emails worth discussion and closed the deal. Keep it like that (except the top part of the story...).

Worth the hour drive. I bought a certified used car at good price . A buyers tip: before making a long drive to see a certified car, call and make sure the price of certification is already included in the price . Gary Lang's price had the certification included, but a different car lot I had experience with did not . Luis Serrano was my certified Kia specialist and was a pleasure to work with. He spent a lot of time answering all my questions and he thoroughly explained all the options I had (buying used , new, and leasing )and went through the price breakdown of each option . I never felt pressure to buy. The car I drove needed an alignment . Luis had the alignment done as we were going over paperwork . I came into the dealership preapproved with what I thought was the best rate I could get, which to my surprise was not . I ended up financing through dealership for over a point less . Lastly, I forgot the extra key at the dealership . Luis offered to drive the hour to bring it to me . I drove back to the dealership to pick up the key and ended up arriving shortly after they closed on a Saturday night . Luis waited for me and happily answered questions I had, even tho his shift was over and I had already bought the car! Great service and a geat car ! I would recommend buying a car from Gary Lang.

They didn't have the vehicle advertised and they expressed clearly, although surprisingly, they had no interest or desire to take my trade given their location due to low interest level of their clientele

I contacted Lang Group (Kia) midday Friday 1/22/16 to view vehicle. It took 3 hours for them after I presented the stock number I got from 2 different websites to determine it was theirs. I was quoted an $8800 asking price. (Not the $7500 presently shown in this ad) They explained it was slated to be wholesaled out. The KBB value for this vehicle in immaculate condition is $5500. Dealer had overnight to get vehicle ready for my next day scheduled arrival...and 3 hours prior to my exact appt for viewing. They didn't bother to clean the interior...full of paper and dirt. The engine was coated with more dust/dirt than could be explained, but no oil leaks.They washed the exterior, only. Both sides of vehicle needed bodywork, in two tone paint to repair golf ball diameter, deep door dings. A blue door had significant silver over spray from a shoddy repair attempt by previous owner. Carfax showed two accidents, tho evidence was only one......that hadn't been repaired....the front bumper was hanging on one side, grill and front tire out of alignment. A glob of dried glue on rear seat. The rear brake rotors needed to be replaced. Clearly this vehicle despite low mileage needed $1500- 2000 in repairs to bring to "immaculate" condition.. Based on KBB I offered full value of this rough condition vehicle for $4500 as is...no cleanup or repair required. I was ready to go to $5000, but they held firm at $6000....$500 more than it was worth IF in immaculate condition, which clearly it was not. The salesman, Andrew, sadly was a stereotypical used car salesman who constantly interrupted me mid sentence. I was offered to buy vehicle on the spot despite its many flaws for a painter's work truck, but they held firm on their price. I knew there was know way that I was going to pay $1000-1500 OVER book value based on condition, then have it painted at significant additional expense. Add $750 for taxes/license/fees. I left thoroughly pissed off after a 45 mi round trip...they insulted my intelligence. Clearly they thought I was a sheep to be sheared. Be on your toes, people....there's no fair deals to be had here.

This place apparently can't read. I asked for a salesman to contact after work, but these guys just kept asking for a daytime phone number for me, ignoring my telling them I didn't want to be contacted during the day. Never did get the name of a salesman and by now they've jacked the price of the truck up 30% and I hope they go out of business soon.

Sales person was good, the rest of the place was terrible. We made a deal the first day. I took the truck home without signing the papers. The truck had some issues the next day and they would do nothing about it. I could bring the truck back but my trade in was already gone. Bottom line DO NOT use this dealer.

I was very disappointed due to the truck was not in the shape the photos predicted it to be. Tailgate had a large dent. It looked like it had had an electrical fire under the dash and center console. Cigarette burns in headliner and other areas. The staff though were very helpful and courteous.

I drove over a hour to test drive & purchase a 2008 SRX. The morning before I went I received a call from Chrissy telling me she was looking forward to my visit & the VIP manager would be expecting me. I got there the VIP manager said he was not expecting me so after he entered my info in the system he said he was going to pull the SRX around but he returned in less then 5 mins to tell me in was sold. I asked how when I had appt just had talk to Chrissy less then 2 hours before I got there. No one offered to assist me in any other way.

well first off I just wanna say I drove an hour an a half to the dealership. when I got there I was sat down and got my car looked at mind u they low balled and offered me not even close to what I was looking for after I told them that wouldn't work they pretty much said " k bye ." I do not recommend them to anyone . by far worst costumer services ever !!!

The staff at Gary Lang was amazing. They were friendly, well versed and extremely accommodating to my schedule, incessant questioning and calls. Though I ended up purchasing a vehicle elsewhere due to some very specific requirements I was actually disappointed I couldn't get it from the folks at Gary Lang. Would definitely recommend these folks.
