The first contact was on 1/28. On 1/30, the car was already home. This dealership is a paradigm of quick and easy car-buying experience. We drove 14 hours in a day from MA for the car, completely worth it. It’s now been another two weeks, the car is immaculate, not even one single hidden issue.

We made a appointment with Anthony via email on 12/27/17 to view and test drive a certified pre-owned 2017 genesis stk#AD72141 vin#KMHGN4JE7HU172141 on Saturday 12/30/17 between 9:30 and 10:00am. We arrived at Fitzgerald Hyundai Rockville Md. at 9:55 am after driving 3 1/2 hours from new jersey in a snow storm. Anthony was "busy" and we were assisted by a very courteous salesman named Guy. The car we were there for was found parked in the lot four rows deep and snow covered! We had to wait for the car to be retrieved and cleaned off. The Sales Manager Keith stated He would discount $200.00 dollars off the car for our inconvenience to offset our fuel and toll costs. after the test drive and trying to work a deal, the Dealership disclosed damage that they had repaired to the front bumper (approx. $800.00) I questioned why the vehicle had two brand new front tires. The Used Car Manager told Guy "the tires were worn slightly past 50% of the tread depth and would not pass Maryland State Inspection" (the car had less than 10,700 miles on the odometer, the explanation did not seem honest.) We were offered $3500.00 dollars less for our trade than N.A.D.A. (National Automobile Dealers Association) value for a clean trade which did not include many add on items our vehicle was equipped with. We were willing to take N.A.D.A clean trade value! after four and a half hours they could not come close enough to a acceptable trade in value, nor would they budge on their "no haggle price" for the Genesis. We were told by Keith "nobody uses N.A.D.A. guides!" He stated "most people use kelley blue book." I checked Kelley blue book. It showed that their "no haggle price" was over $1200.00 more than the fair market price for Their certified pre-owned Genesis with 10700 miles, as it was equipped. We left Fitzgerald Hyundai without a deal, wasted our day, a full tank of gas and tolls! the only pleasant part was meeting and dealing with our salesman Guy, He was great. Managers are unwilling to work with you, do not project honesty. B.T.W. Had Dealership run a Car Fax that day on that vehicle, it did not show any damage reported! Overall, a bad experience to purchase a car that we do not NEED, but wanted.
