I asked specifically to be contacted via e-mail. They keep trying to call me. They have never given me an out-the-door quote on the car I wanted via e-mail. I did not answer their calls since I asked them to e-mail me.

I called from Indiana they being in South Carolina,they had a truck I had been looking for for two weeks,I offered them full price so I wanted to hold the truck so I could make arrangements to pick it up but they said there policy is not to take money to hold vehicles you have to be there in person then I told them I would wire the full amount and they wouldn’t do that so they made it impossible for me to buy the truck you have to be there in person or they won’t sell it to you no matter what

They were not willing to work with pricing. Waited on someone to call me back about an offer I made, no one ever did. This was even after I called them back to see what their thoughts were. Horrible...especially when your in a time crunch on finding a car. Anyway, found my 2015 Nissan Murano with 27k miles for great price somewhere else!

Contacted Bob Richards because the ad description was inaccurate. After a vague initial response, I contacted again and restated my concern. Another response (from Bob's internet sales manager) addressed my exact concern and confirmed my observation was correct. The ad was corrected, and the price was reduced, but I lot interest because I was interested in a 500 Turbo with automatic. We're also subject to error -- even Bob. Then he got it right!

I spent a whole day communicating back and forth working on a deal to trade my 2013 LC for this 2017 LC. At the end of the day I was told that this one was already sold but they were expecting more. Would have been nice to know up front that the one I was interested in was no longer available

They would not sell me the car because I could not get there personally. I have been searching nationwide for this vehicle and they have the one with the options I want. I have bought one other car and a boat sight unseen. I understand the risk. Really sounds strange to me.

Set up a date and time to test drive and without any type of contact they sold the car. We had no idea until we showed up for the appointment! Do your research before using this dealer.

I was able to find the car that I was looking for at their car lot. Made a phone call and had appointment that next day and ways able to drive away happy. Their team of sales staff were the most understanding and courteous salespeople that I encountered. Very helpful and no pressure to buy. I will say that my next vehicle will be from them in the future.

Prompt initial response and follow up communication. Didnt do business because of their non negotiatable pricing policy and i also decided to buy a different make of car than the one they had for sale. This is my second effort to do business with them. They were also similarly responsive the last time but they dont budge on their price...so they say...so i wont be bothering them in the future. Good dealership I'm sure.

I sent them an email to let them know there was a glaring error in one of their listings. All I got in return were two auto-replies asking me to contact them for the best deal in town. I had no interest in the vehicle, but wrote them for their benefit. Apparently, they do not actually read the emails we send.

I was simply calling to ask questions about the car... I was transferred to two different people; both who acted like I was ignorant and had no clue what I was inquiring about. I was transferred to an incredibly rude lady and simply asked her (since I am not from the area,) if they bring cars to closer dealerships for us to look at if we are interested in them. She says "ummmm no, why would we do that?" I responded with an "okay, thank you ma'am..." And before I could say goodbye she had hung up the phone. My mother just bought a Camry from another toyota dealership in Greenville, and she was interested in the car so they brought it to the Columbia dealership which is closer to us for her to look at it. It was not a stupid question. I have seen it happen before. I don't understand when I am trying to GIVE you my money for something, give you a sale, give you my business, how you can be so rude and act like you could care less. I will NEVER deal with this dealership again- you owe it to your sweet little lady who I talked to on the phone. This just goes to show you that phone manners go a long way with a business... USE THEM.

misrepresented car and only bothered to reimburse 1/2 of the amount of gas to get us back to our home located over 200+ miles away. Do not think we would ever do business with this dealership. They told me (Sales Mgr. and salesman Antwan) that they could NOT take a dime less for that car and when we pulled off of the lot, I looked vehicle up again on CarGurus and Autotrader and they had lowered it from $19,275 to $18,977 and were NEVER going to offer me the lowered difference in the prices. I didn't even bother to call them back when we left to tell them they were being deceitful! Would never do business with them. Thank you, NC resident

I had a small issue with the maintenance and Mr. Richard's, the owner, personally called me himself and and resolved the issue immediately. After his initial call, the general manager contacted me as well. Then to my total amazement, Mr. Richards did another followup. The issue I had was nothing major but these guys responded in way that says all complaints, large or Small deserve immediate Attention. I will continue to recommend my family and friends to this dealer. If you want to buy from an excellent dealership, definitely visit Bob Richards Toyota. Rachel Miller

I gave it a three instead of a two because of the salesperson gave me a helpful car hunting tip. I received an e-mail response that the car was available and spoke to a salesperson on the phone that morning. Drove 45 mins. to be told the car was not in good shape but they had other they could show me.
