We were told ,twice, that the vehicle was a non- plug in hybrid. We drove an hour only to find out that the vehicle IS a plug-in hybrid. We told the salesperson that we were NOT interested in the vehicle and were told”we’ll see you next week when you want to purchase the vehicle “.

8/18/25 Dealer dint even drop a penny on this
2023 CRV hybrid touring priced at $34,400 my
offer started at 31K and went up to 33K and not a
deal breaker for them. However went home did a
research and the car had an accident report on it.
They are no different than Mancaris dealership
when they were around, they were very greedy
and that’s why they closed.
I’m also from the neighborhood, so imagine ppl
coming from 1hr away not worth coming here.

We had a 1 1/2 hr.drive to this dealership. They
called us when we were 1/2hr.away to tell me
the car had damage on the tailgate that they
were unaware of .The SUV had been on their lot
for 45 days. We looked at the car regardless and
decided not to purchase it. They agreed to fix it
and deliver it,still we said no. They offered us a
new car at an awesome deal. They said they
would call us in 1/2hr. That was 6 days ago. Still
haven't heard from them.

I had great experience with Napleton Honda in Oak Lawn! I found this vehicle on Car Gurus and the dealer accurately described and photographed the vehicle's condition. I drove about 45 minutes to the dealership and checking out the car, I was politely greeted and set up with Jilal. He set up the test drive and listened to my goals and expectations regarding the car (2018 Dodge Challenger T/A). We attempted to work a deal but weren't able to get one done but were very close. On Monday, after a few discussions, we got it done. Jalal actually worked with the GM on my behalf to get the price I needed to be at. No pressure tactics or games and most importantly, no wasting time. If I need another vehicle, I will be going back to Jilal and Napleton Honda in Oak Lawn! Highly recommend!

Fast and friendly. We came to an agreement on price and I walked out with a car! Noor was pleasant to deal with.
I simply requested a few pictures before driving an hour to the dealership. I received several emails giving me pricing and asking if I still needed pictures. I responded to each email and again asked for pictures. All I got as just another form letter. I’m moving on. There are plenty on other vehicles back on dealer lots. Not how I was expecting to be treated, especially since I’ve bought from Napleton previous.

I went there ready to pay the listed price of 32,500. After we looked at the vehicle and decided to buy, we saw the numbers. That price jumped to over 40,000. The failed to mention the included packages no one in their right mind would ever buy. They tried to hide it in the financing. After hours of arguing they removed all that crap and we finally bought the vehicle. Salesman was a good kid tho. I’m not going back.

them on Tuesday they said it was still available was going in on Wednesday got
an e-mail one hour before I was to go in they sold the Mercedes the next day
got an e-mail was I still coming in for the Mercedes I called they didn't know
anything about the e-mail I have a copy of the e-mail they said sorry
Customer service is non existent here!!! BEWARE... they pass through the "reconditioning fee" aka for
detailing the car and many other "fees" as the manager told they pass through that is NOT built in the price...
so $32k for a car that was listed on multiple sites for $31k plus all the fees... talk about getting suckers to buy
from them... very very shady from the manager to the reps apparently not knowing what is going one.... I never
tried to haggle but trust me they talked me down from buying the car in a heartbeat. I wouldn't recommend my
worst enemy here!

To start the salesman Salim was good to go. I fully intended to purchase this vehicle, but not that day. I wanted to test drive it before hand, and had limited time that day to do it.
Salim’s boss was very pushy, rushed to sell the car a s started purchase paperwork without asking us. He then added close to $4000 of “extra” protection and was adamant about selling it, to which we declined after 3 attempts to make us purchase it. He then raised the price $900 to $30,900, even though the listed price was $30K, then tried to play coy like it was a mistake.
I was pre-qualified before I went and showed them what rate I had. They ran my credit several times, as I get email notifications as when it is ran. Then tried to give me a different rate then what I was pre-qual for. After threatening to walk out he then miraculously found a bank that approved my pre qualified rate. They kept us there entirely to long and a scheduled appointment was missed because of that.

Long story short someone contacted me via text we didn’t agree on price I asked kindly to be removed from the call list. Few mins later I received a text from the pre owned manager saying that i shouldn’t look at cars 2k more than my budget. On CarGurus it shows the care was overpriced by a little over $2k I thought my offer was reasonable clearly this manager had a chip on his shoulder he wouldn’t even give me his name. I have a picture of the conversation for who cares to verify.

They tack on $2000 of extras that you don’t need (Xzilon which has horrible reviews and doesn’t work) on top of the price posted. Then you sit there for hours haggling a price $2k higher than the one you they baited you to come in with. Sounds shady? Because it is. Needless to say, we walked out.

Called dealer after leaving another dealer unsatisfied. Asked about a vehicle found on here and was told vehicle was on lot when we were en route. Got to the lot, didn’t see vehicle. Went inside and was told it was sold a few days prior. Salesman tried to sell us a car that we were absolutely not interested in and would not let up. Need to update whether vehicle is available or not.

I would steer away from this dealership. They had insanely high added fees that no other dealership has. When I asked for the out of door breakdown of the total price, they had almost $2000 of added fees. Almost $1000 for paint warranty. And another almost $1000 for inspection of the car. That was on $18500 car. That’s a markup of more than 10%. Felt very shady to me I decided to walk away.

Old pricing bait and switch. They are advertising a 2019 Honda Civic on CarGurus and their dealer site at under MSRP but when they call or email you the price they're actually asking a $5k dealer mark up. Shady practice. I'm buying from a different dealer at MSRP.

We reached out via email about 2 vehicles, we received an email one was sold, and asked about another one. Received no response back. Made a 2nd inquiry and received some info back on the 2nd vehicle. Spoke with a someone in finance about an app I put in. However, at one point I felt uncomfortable about this dealer and said I was backing out of their finance since I already had pre approval with Capital One... he basically hung up on me. I will not be using this dealer, they are about 45 mins away and not worth my time driving there. We were ready to purchase on Saturday, but will look somewhere closer to home instead.

Dealer emailed pricing on a couple of models. At first I had some interest, but since Honda's are
so overpriced I wanted to take them up on their advertised "We will not lose a customer due to
price!" clearly highlighted in their emails. I proposed what I considered a fair price due to recent
problems with Honda's reliability (battery and transmission over the last few years). The response
I got was boilerplate and did not even address my offer one way or another. Based on that I
concluded I will not do business with Oak Lawn Honda. If it's this difficult to get straight answers

The friendly service ended when I pulled out of their parking lot in my new car. I am so
sorry I bought from them. I would never recommend them to anyone. They were not forth coming with information. They had me sign two contract with out telling me. I
was pushed to sign everything quickly. Later when I called to make a change I was not called back for 5 days and then told the change was impossible. I had to push to
get a copy of the contract. That when I found out I had signed two contracts. I called several times and was told someone would get back to me and most of the time that
did not happen. It took me also most a month to straighten out the price and the other problems. I settle on a price that was more than I originally agreed to but I liked the
car and just wanted it to end.

After inquiring about the car, the dealership sent me an email with all the information and the price being “locked” in. Upon arrival, they marked up the price by over $2000 before taxes. When I mentioned them taking up the price and showing them the advertised price online and my email, they only then “discounted” about $1500 to say that it was a good deal. It wasn’t being that the car is already an expired year model. They were not open to negotiating. I wouldn’t buy with them. Rip offs.

After giving me one price quote, Napleton upped the price at the last minute by nearly $1,000 with a “mandatory” service plan. I said I don’t want the plan and it would not be convenient for me to get my car serviced in Oak Lawn as I live in Chicago. They refused to remove that cost, so I bought my car elsewhere.

They had a great price on a used car and then tacked $911 fee for safety inspection and detailing. I asked numerous times for an out the door price and breakdown of fees be emailed to me...but they wouldn't give anything in writing regarding a final out the door price. Not a big deal if you live close by, but I was over an hour drive away. After that, the next day their online price jumped $1000. shady tactics.

Experience was good at the dealership everything went well intill about 700 miles on the used vehicle I bought. There was a notification on the dash of the vehicle that it needed a oil change.checked oil in the vehicle and it was very low like the dealership didn't even check to see if oil was in the vehicle at all. Having a oil change is one of the cheapest things a dealer can do but they did not bother to even give a fresh oil change before the vehicle was even listed for sale for that reason I will give this review one star because that is just unacceptable!

Napleton Honda placed an ad for 2018 Civic
Type r for $32,535,00 which is about $2,000
under retail price. Contacted dealer to check if
the vehicle is available and they responded with
no it is in transit and the price is a mistake they
have been trying to correct? They placed the ad
9 days ago and can easily go online to revise if if
they really wanted to. This ad is not a "mistake",
clearly it is by design as they welcome the
increased interest and exposure for having the
lowest price. They will be reported to American
Honda. We have purchased a new car from
Napleton 2 years ago and are in the market for
two vehicles and will look for a fair deal
elsewhere and encourage everyone to do the
same.

I received the best deal on my "almost new", pre-owned vehicle at Ed
Napleton Honda in Oak Lawn. Thanks especially to Tony Chippas, (the
Used Car Manager) everything went extremely smooth. This is the fourth
time I have purchased from them. I thoroughly researched the 2016
Dodge Challenger R/T, before I decided to make my purchase. I found
the best car, at the best price at Ed Napleton Honda. This car had
everything I wanted. Moonoof, Navigation, Heated / Cooled Seats, etc. It
was even the color I wanted. They even offered more for my trade than
anyone else. I couldn't believe their selection of used cars. They had cars
I wouldn't expect a Honda dealer to have! Lexus, Audi, Mercedes-Benz,
Porsche , Lincoln, Cadillac, Toyota. They really know what cars people
want, and they offer them at well below market price ! I couldn't have

Wonderful! Although there was some minor confusion in regards to this online posting to the actual purchase price of the vehicle, all the staff members were very open and honest. Prior to my drive there, the manager called and explained the confusion to potentially avoid me driving there. They upped my trade in value to accommodate the error. When I looked up the Honda Odyssey in comparison to other Odysseys nationwide, this dealership had the best pricing!!
I enjoyed not being overly pressured and swamped with tons of phone calls and pushy emails. I believe they reached out once, but I was the one that initiated the other conversations!
I was very pleased with this car buying experience even with the few minor hiccups I encountered!

Although the sales person and the manager were very nice and courteous in nature, but I was so disappointed and frustrated by their unethical and nonprofessional behavior. After test drive and price negotiation I agreed to purchase a used 2013 Toyota Avalon and I agreed to pay for the car, Title fees and taxes only, but I refused to purchase any additional warranties or service packages and I made it very clear from the beginning. But when I was signing the final paperwork, I noticed that they added $910 to the final price of the car, so when I brought it into their attention, they tried to convince me that they were losing money on this deal because their purchasing agent made a mistake and paid too much for the car in an auction, so in order to compensate for his mistake, they asked me to pay additional $910 and purchase Napleton service package, otherwise they wont sell the car. So I walked out and didn't purchase the car.
I wont go to this dealership again. Very unethical and unprofessional people.

The salesman was nice, but the prices did not work out. We discovered that
trade in values in the Chicago area tend to be much lower, perhaps only at
this dealership or those similar. They buy used cars often from auctions,
and put trade-ins with higher mileage on auction so a minimal value is
given. The purchase did not work out

Car was listed for $4,977. When i got there they added $1,300 of additional costs Ed Napelton Certification and VIN etching costs. These were not options that I requested. They had already added these "features" to the car so they knew the price they planned to charge but did not include them when they listed the cost of the vehicle.

Terrible dealership. Very poor business model.
Disregard their advertised pricing. Once there,
they will tell you they paid 1250 dollars for an
inspection, an alignment, and glass Vin etching
and expect you to pay for that after they add it
onto their advertised price. Also offer half of

I was happy with the experience at the
dealership except for 2 items. The
vehicle was advertised to include a soft
top (jeep) along with the hard top which
was not true, and when it came down to
agreeing on the deal the salesman told
me it was approved at a certain finance
rate and when I sat with the finance mgr.
It was totally different . This made me
loose all trust in buying a car there
again.

As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by Demario Ash and was offered assistance. One of the best experiences I've ever had purchasing a vehicle. The negotiation went well. I left with the vehicle I came for and I feel good about the price I paid. I don't feel like I was taken advantage of. If you don't have your own financing, they will do a few credit inquiries to try do get a good financing rate for you, which they did for me. Not a BIG deal, just be aware. I will look at Ed Napleton Honda again when I am ready to make another vehicle purchase.
