Which MINI Countryman trim should I buy?

The 2025 MINI Countryman offers these trims:

• Cooper S: The popular choice, with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and standard all-wheel drive; it’s the best-value trim for most shoppers who want the core Countryman experience.
• SE: The electric model, offering an estimated 212 miles of range and a different powertrain choice for buyers who want battery-electric driving.
• John Cooper Works: The performance-focused trim, with the most power and performance in the lineup.

What MINI Countryman do most buyers choose?

The MINI Countryman years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2026.

Higher-volume years tend to be popular because you get more inventory to compare, more pricing spread, and a better chance of finding the color, trim, and equipment mix you want.

What is the MINI Countryman's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used because prices have generally softened. The steepest drops are concentrated in older and recent-model examples, while a few years are falling only modestly or staying nearly flat. That gives you several opportunities to find value depending on how new you want your Countryman to be.

The 2024 model year is holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2024, 2021, and 2022 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
