Used 2025 MINI Countryman for Sale nearNewburgh, NY

How much does the 2025 MINI Countryman cost?

Prices have softened 8.27% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 887 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 MINI Countryman a good car?

The 2025 MINI Countryman earns a 6.8/10 expert rating.

The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

You get a small crossover that is expressive, BMW-engineered, and available with multiple powertrain options, while still offering rear-seat space and competitive cargo room for its size. The trade-offs are clear: dissatisfying steering and poor ride quality, plus unintuitive technology that can make daily use more frustrating than it should be.

For you, that means the Countryman makes the most sense if personality, style, and driving fun matter more than polish and ease of use. The market still shows 37.1% good or great deals, so there is room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 MINI Countryman reliable?

The 2025 Countryman is presented as a well-equipped, modern redesign with standard all-wheel drive and a broad safety suite, but it also comes across as mechanically and ergonomically busy. The powertrain is lively and the SUV is fun to drive, yet the expert evaluation notes clunky shifting, noise, and ride harshness that can wear on you over time.

You also get complimentary maintenance coverage for three years and 36,000 miles, which helps soften early ownership costs. For a used buyer, the main long-term risk is that the Countryman’s quirks and refinement issues may become more annoying the longer you keep it.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 MINI Countryman?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-spec example with more equipment. Focus on overall condition, because the Countryman’s appeal depends heavily on how well it has been maintained and how much wear its technology and chassis have absorbed.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Cooper S is the popular choice, the John Cooper Works offers the most power and performance, and the SE is the electric model with an estimated 212 miles of range. The Favoured style and Iconic trim package can add a more distinctive look and a richer cabin feel, while the base setup is less elaborate.
• Powertrain: The Cooper S uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. It makes 241 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, and the setup is quick and nimble, though refinement is not its strong suit.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring with active steering input, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, a left-turn warning system, Mini Assist eCall, and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability. Assisted Driving and Assisted Driving Plus build on that hardware, with the latter tied to the optional Comfort Max Package.
• Infotainment: The Countryman uses a round 9.4-inch OLED touchscreen, and it includes wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, cloud-based navigation, and a head-up display. The system is feature-rich, but the menu structure is complicated.
• Fuel efficiency: The official estimate is 27 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2025 MINI Countryman trim should I buy?

The 2025 MINI Countryman is offered in 3 trim levels: Cooper S All4, John Cooper Works All4, SE All4.

Here's the short version:

• Cooper S All4: This is the best-value choice if you want the core Countryman experience. It gives you the 241-horsepower turbocharged engine, standard all-wheel drive, and the playful character that defines the model without pushing you into the highest price tier.
• John Cooper Works All4: Choose this if you want the most power and the most performance-focused version of the lineup. It is the right pick if you care most about the Countryman’s sporty side.
• SE All4: Pick this if you want the electric version and its estimated 212 miles of range. It is the alternative for buyers who want to go electric rather than stick with the gas-powered setup.

The safety equipment is strong across the lineup, and the standard driver-assistance content is a major plus.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 MINI Countryman?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting deep discounts everywhere.

• Deal availability: 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 887 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.27% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,133, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 MINI Countryman's resale value?

The current average of $34,250 sits slightly below last year's $37,340.

That price movement suggests the Countryman has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help you as a buyer today. If you sell later, the model’s resale value will likely depend heavily on condition, trim, and how well the vehicle’s distinctive appeal holds up in the used market.

Because the current average is below last year’s level, you are buying after some of the early price drop has already happened. That can reduce your downside if you keep the vehicle for a few years, but it also means future resale will still hinge on how desirable the trim and equipment are.

Is the 2025 MINI Countryman safe?

The 2025 Countryman earns a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring with active steering input, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, a left-turn warning system, Mini Assist eCall, and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability.

That standard suite is a strong part of the Countryman’s appeal, and the optional Comfort Max Package adds more advanced automation through Assisted Driving Plus. The main caveat is that some of the more advanced hands-free capability is tied to that upgrade rather than being standard.

Should I buy a 2025 MINI Countryman or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.27% compared with last year.
• The redesigned model brings more space, standard all-wheel drive, and a stronger safety and tech package.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $29,047, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $34,250 average.
• It offers a proven, familiar formula with easy-to-use technology and the distinctive MINI look.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the redesigned Countryman’s added space, standard AWD, and stronger safety content. If your priority is saving money and you are comfortable with an older version, the 2024 is the better value play.
