Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: standard safety and driver assistance features including forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring with active steering input, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, a left-turn warning system, and Mini Assist eCall with an SOS button and automatic collision notification.
• Infotainment: wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and wireless smartphone charging.
• Fuel efficiency: The official estimate is 27 mpg in combined driving, but our test vehicle returned 24.5 mpg, driven mostly in Core mode with Go Kart active for fun on mountain roads.

Which MINI Countryman trim should I buy?

The 2025 MINI Countryman offers these trims:

• Cooper S: the popular choice, with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, standard all-wheel drive, and the model’s core balance of style and performance.
• SE: the electric model, offering an estimated 212 miles of range and a strong fit if you want the Countryman’s personality in EV form.
• John Cooper Works: the most power-focused trim, with the highest performance and the most assertive character in the lineup.

What MINI Countryman do most buyers choose?

The MINI Countryman years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2026.

Higher-volume model years tend to be the easiest to shop because you usually get more choice in trims, colors, and equipment. They also tend to be the years most sellers and buyers are focused on, which can make pricing and deal selection more competitive.

What is the MINI Countryman's resale value?

Most model years in the table are down year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used and want prices that have softened. The biggest drops are concentrated in older and mid-cycle years, while the newest entries show smaller declines. That makes the recent model years especially interesting if you want newer features without paying original-new-car pricing.

The 2024, 2021, and 2022 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
