What BMW 8 Series do most buyers choose?

The BMW 8 Series years with the most listings are 2025, 2023, and 2022.

Higher-volume years usually give you more choices on color, trim, and equipment, which makes it easier to find a version that fits your budget and preferences. They also tend to be the years shoppers cross-shop most often, so pricing and deal activity are usually easier to compare.

What is the BMW 8 Series's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, which creates more room for used buyers to find value. The sharpest drops are concentrated in the newer and mid-cycle years, while the smaller declines suggest some versions are softening more gradually. Overall, the pattern favors shoppers who want a luxury grand tourer at a lower entry price than new-car pricing.

The 2019, 2023, and 2021 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
