Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

The current average of $37,735 sits slightly below last year's $38,567.

That modest decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy at a more reasonable entry point today. For future resale, the current pricing trend implies you may not see rapid appreciation, but strong demand can still support values if the car stays clean and well maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota GR Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $36,882, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $37,735 average.
• It brings a brand-new hot hatch feel with standard all-wheel drive and strong handling.

The bottom line: If you want the current-year option with solid inventory and a softer price trend, the 2024 is the primary pick. If you are more price-sensitive and want to save a bit up front, the 2023 is the better secondary path.
