Why it stands out
The 2024 Toyota 4Runner continues to be a solid choice for buyers seeking a capable off-road vehicle. With its rugged styling and strong reputation for reliability, the 4Runner appeals to those who prioritize adventure and durability. The powerful 4.0-liter V6 engine delivers a robust 270 horsepower, offering adequate performance for off-road activities and daily driving, albeit some users have reported sluggishness on highways compared to its competitors, which may have more advanced powertrains. Inside, this SUV provides ample space for passengers and cargo, including features like heated seats that enhance comfort during journeys. Nonetheless, potential buyers should note that the vehicle's dated interior technology and fuel economy—averaging only 17 mpg combined—might not meet the expectations set by more modern rivals. As highlighted in expert reviews, while the 4Runner excels in off-road settings, it does lag behind in terms of on-road handling and modern amenities, which could sway buyers toward newer options.

This is one of the best cars on the market. The only thing i think its missing is a leveling kit. Having it sit a little higher i think makes it easier to see/ safer. The reliability and low car maintenance make this a great option for someone who doesnt want to spend money on repairs.
