How much does the 2024 Subaru BRZ cost?

Prices have softened 5.56% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 174 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Subaru BRZ a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. The 2024 Subaru BRZ stands out as a lightweight, rear-wheel-drive sports coupe that prioritizes balance and driver involvement rather than straight-line speed. It pairs a 2.4-liter boxer engine with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic, and both transmissions send power only to the rear wheels. For you, that means the BRZ makes the most sense if you want a compact coupe that feels playful and precise instead of especially practical or powerful. 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 Subaru BRZ reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Subaru BRZ’s appeal is rooted in fun rather than brute force, and its modern cabin and standard equipment help it feel well-rounded for a sports coupe. It comes with a customizable 7-inch digital dashboard, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, a rear-view camera, and SiriusXM satellite radio. EyeSight driver assistance is standard across the lineup, which adds confidence for everyday use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the car’s limited practicality means you should be especially sure its condition and maintenance history fit your needs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Subaru BRZ?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and confirm that the car has not had hidden damage or repeated repairs. Put inspection priority on the chassis, tires, brakes, and interior condition, since a sports coupe like this can be driven harder than an average commuter car. Focus on overall wear and how the car was maintained, because condition matters a lot when you are shopping for a used performance-oriented coupe.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Subaru BRZ?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 174 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.56% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $28,622, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Subaru BRZ's resale value?

The current average of $28,965 sits slightly below last year's $30,672.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you plan to sell later, a softer current market can mean you should pay close attention to purchase price and condition so you preserve as much value as possible. The BRZ’s niche appeal should still help it attract enthusiasts, especially if it remains clean and well maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Subaru BRZ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the most balanced mix of price, condition, and owner satisfaction, the 2024 is the one to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2024’s current market advantages and cleaner inventory profile.
