How much does the 2024 Lexus ES cost?

Is the 2024 Lexus ES a good car?

The 2024 Lexus ES is presented as a strong choice if you want a reliable, affordable, and well-equipped sedan. It is framed as a comfort-first luxury car with a quiet, pampering character, and it emphasizes great ride quality, plenty of cargo space, and excellent value.

That makes it a good fit if you care more about a relaxed driving experience, a luxurious interior, and everyday usability than sporty handling or aggressive styling. The market also shows 36.4% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Lexus ES reliable?

The 2024 Lexus ES is described as a reliable sedan with a long-standing reputation for refinement. Its appeal centers on comfort, understated luxury, and a well-rounded ownership experience rather than flash or performance.

For used buyers, that usually points to lower long-term ownership risk if you prioritize a calm, conventional luxury sedan and keep up with routine maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus ES?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you like and confirm that the car’s background matches the seller’s description. Put inspection priority on overall condition, since a comfort-focused sedan like this is best judged by how well it has been maintained inside and out.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus ES?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,331 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $39,673, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus ES's resale value?

The current average of $41,542 sits slightly below last year's $41,751.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable, which can help future sellers because the model is not showing a sharp drop in value. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you should have a reasonable path to resale later. The steady pricing also suggests buyers continue to see the ES as a dependable, mainstream luxury option rather than a volatile niche model.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus ES or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

The bottom line:
The 2024 is the right path if you want the current-year ES with stable pricing, strong inventory quality, and a comfort-first luxury experience. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry point, but the 2024 still looks like a sensible buy if condition and deal quality matter most.
