Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The owner feedback also emphasizes dependable comfort, a smooth ride, and a trouble-free ownership experience centered on everyday usability. That combination suggests the HR-V is the kind of vehicle you can count on for routine commuting and family duty. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about durability and more about making sure the specific example has been maintained well and still feels mechanically sound.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda HR-V?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still prioritize a history report to confirm there are no hidden incidents, title issues, or inconsistent ownership records. A thorough inspection should focus on overall condition, especially how the cabin, ride quality, and controls have held up in daily use. Since this model is valued for comfort and practicality, you’ll want to make sure the specific vehicle still feels clean, quiet, and well cared for.

What is the 2024 Honda HR-V's resale value?

The current average of $25,545 sits slightly above last year's $25,448.

That small increase suggests the HR-V has held its value fairly well rather than swinging sharply up or down. For a future seller, that kind of stability can be helpful because it points to steady buyer interest and a predictable pricing environment. The model’s practical appeal and strong owner satisfaction should continue to support demand when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda HR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $23,548, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $25,545 average.
• It brings a redesigned cabin and a stronger standard feature set.

The bottom line:
You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the current-year pricing data, steady market conditions, and strong owner satisfaction. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the better value play, especially if you find one in excellent condition with a clean history.
