Yes — the 2024 Genesis GV70 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

The GV70 stands out as a distinctive take on the small luxury SUV theme, with styling that gives it a clear identity and a cabin that brings impressive technology to the segment. It also offers multiple powertrain options, including an all-electric powertrain option, which broadens its appeal if you want something a little different from the usual luxury crossover formula.

The trade-offs are that its ergonomic design is poor, and its ride and handling are merely adequate.

The performance notes point to a competent, well-rounded SUV rather than a fragile or overly complicated one, and the cost-effectiveness section highlights Genesis’ generous warranty coverage, including a 10-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty and a five-year, 60,000-mile new vehicle warranty.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright durability and more about choosing a well-maintained example with the right equipment and condition.

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,371 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.03% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,794, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Genesis GV70's resale value?

The current average of $38,794 sits slightly below last year's $42,644.

That price movement suggests the GV70 has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilizes. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less downside left than a shopper who paid closer to the original average. Strong equipment, distinctive styling, and broad appeal can also help support demand later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Genesis GV70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.03% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model brings a distinctive design, impressive tech, and an all-electric powertrain option.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,904, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $38,794 average.
• It emphasizes craftsmanship and refined performance.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest used GV70 with strong market support, the 2024 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2023 is the smarter value play and still delivers the GV70’s upscale character.
