New & Used 2026 Genesis GV70 for Sale nearAlbuquerque, NM

How much does the 2026 Genesis GV70 cost?

Prices have softened 2.33% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,440 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2026 Genesis GV70 a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Genesis GV70 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

The GV70 leans into refinement rather than reinvention, with subtle exterior updates, a very wide OLED display inside, and a comprehensive software upgrade for its technology and safety systems. It comes with standard all-wheel drive and remains focused on a premium compact-luxury crossover experience.

The main trade-offs are a weak ergonomic design and no hybrid option. Even so, it stays near the head of its class for shoppers who want style and technology in a compact luxury SUV.

With 35.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is enough market flexibility to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Genesis GV70 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GV70’s reliability case is supported by its comprehensive safety and driver-assistance package, plus a refreshed technology suite that includes OTA updates and a broad set of convenience features. Genesis also says the Highway Driving Assist system uses capacitive sensors to detect your hands on the wheel, and it proved reliable in testing.

The performance setup is straightforward, with a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and standard all-wheel drive across the lineup. Genesis also says the refreshed model keeps the advanced safety package at least as good as before, which is reassuring for used buyers.

For long-term ownership, the biggest risk is less about basic dependability and more about choosing the right trim and condition, since higher-spec versions add more equipment and complexity.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Genesis GV70?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re looking at a higher-trim example with more equipment. Focus on cabin condition, electronics, and how well the vehicle’s driver-assistance and infotainment features operate, since those are central to the GV70’s appeal.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard car emphasizes refined styling and a luxurious cabin, while Sport models add dark chrome molding, unique wheel options, and carbon-fiber-style interior trim; the top Sport Prestige edition adds real carbon fiber across large areas. Base-trim shoppers should pay close attention to which appearance and interior upgrades they’re giving up.
• Powertrain: The base 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder makes 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque and pairs with an eight-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive. A 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 is optional on higher trims and delivers 375 hp and 391 lb-ft.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance-Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance-Assist, Front and Rear Parking Distance Warning, Safe Exit Assist, Rear Occupant Alert and Forward Attention Warning. Front, Rear and Side Parking Distance Warning plus Rear Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist are added on the 2.5T Advanced and 3.5T Sport Prestige trims.
• Infotainment: The cabin centers on a 27-inch OLED display with OTA updates, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 360-degree Surround View Monitor. You also get customizable themes, large app icons, and digital gauges with navigation and ADAS readouts.
• Fuel efficiency: The base 2.5T is estimated at 20 mpg city and 28 mpg highway, while the 2.5T Sport Prestige drops to 26 mpg highway. The larger engine is estimated at 18 mpg city and 25 mpg highway.

Which 2026 Genesis GV70 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Genesis GV70 is offered in 4 trim levels: 2.5T, 2.5T Select, 2.5T Advanced, and 2.5T Sport Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• 2.5T: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the core GV70 formula: standard all-wheel drive, the 300-hp turbo four-cylinder, and the refreshed cabin tech. It makes sense if you want the GV70’s style and fundamentals without paying for extras.
• 2.5T Select: This trim adds a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and upgraded aluminum trim, making it the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds meaningful comfort and convenience without jumping too far in price.
• 2.5T Advanced: This is the trim to target if you want a more upscale experience, since it adds an excellent Bang & Olufsen audio system, ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, and leather seating surfaces.
• 2.5T Sport Prestige: This is the loaded version, with all the features and the most premium presentation. It’s the right pick if you want the fullest GV70 experience and don’t mind paying for it.

Front, Rear and Side Parking Distance Warning plus Rear Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist are added on the 2.5T Advanced and 3.5T Sport Prestige trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Genesis GV70?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,440 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.33% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $51,550, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Genesis GV70's resale value?

The current average of $52,670 sits slightly below last year's $53,925.

That modest decline suggests the market has softened a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now. For a future seller, the current pricing trend points to a vehicle that is holding value reasonably well rather than falling sharply.

The GV70’s strong feature content and premium positioning should help support demand when it’s time to sell. If you keep mileage and condition in check, the model’s broad appeal should remain a plus.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2026 Genesis GV70 safe?

The 2026 GV70 has not yet been crash-tested, but the previous model was rated a Top Safety Pick+ by IIHS and earned five-star ratings from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The GV70 comes with a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance features, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance-Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance-Assist, Front and Rear Parking Distance Warning, Safe Exit Assist, Rear Occupant Alert and Forward Attention Warning. Highway Driving Assist also uses capacitive sensors to detect your hands on the wheel.

A notable trim-level gap is that Front, Rear and Side Parking Distance Warning plus Rear Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist are reserved for the 2.5T Advanced and 3.5T Sport Prestige trims. The lack of fresh crash-test results for the refreshed model is the main caveat, even though the prior results and carryover safety hardware are encouraging.

Should I buy a 2026 Genesis GV70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.33% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2026 model’s biggest update is the wide 27-inch OLED display and the refreshed software for its technology and safety systems.

The 2026 is the right pick if you want the refreshed cabin, updated tech, and a strong mix of style and standard all-wheel drive. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year can still make sense, but the 2026’s updated interior presentation and software improvements give it a clear appeal for shoppers who want the newest version of the GV70 formula.
