How much does the 2024 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 10.57% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,810 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare trims, equipment, and condition.

Is the 2024 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Ford Bronco earns a 4.71/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Owners consistently praise its off-road capabilities, modern features, stylish interior and design, and the unique colors available. In practical use, that lines up with the Bronco’s fun-to-drive character, comfortable ride, and plenty of cargo space.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and a noisy, less refined daily-driving experience, especially if you spend a lot of time commuting. For you, that means the Bronco makes the most sense if you want a personality-first SUV that still works as an everyday vehicle.

Good and great deals account for 33.9% of listings, so you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle you can count on for off-road capability, modern features, and a generally satisfying ownership experience. That kind of praise suggests the Bronco’s appeal goes beyond first impressions and into day-to-day dependability for buyers who value its core strengths.

The expert drive notes also support that impression by describing the Bronco as satisfying to drive, with clean shifts and easy 4-Hi and 4-Lo engagement. Ford also includes a complimentary Bronco Trail App, which adds useful trail information and maps for owners who plan to use the SUV as intended.

The main long-term ownership risk for used buyers is that the Bronco’s rugged hardware and poor fuel economy can make it more expensive to live with over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford Bronco?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the Bronco has seen trail use or heavy modification. Pay close attention to tire wear, suspension condition, interior wear, and any signs that the vehicle has been used hard off-road or in harsh weather.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Big Bend is the standard trim level, and the available Sasquatch Package adds a suspension lift, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, and other off-roading equipment. The base setup can look a bit awkward without the larger tires, so you should compare appearance and equipment carefully if you want the more rugged stance.
• Powertrain: The standard turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder makes 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, while the optional turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 makes 330 hp and 415 lb-ft. A seven-speed manual with a low first gear is available on many Broncos, and a 10-speed automatic is also offered.
• Safety package: Ford Co-Pilot360 includes lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. The standard safety set includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, and a backup camera with guidance grid lines.
• Infotainment: Every Bronco gets a 12-inch Sync 4 touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, FordPass Connect services, SiriusXM 360L satellite radio, and a seven-speaker stereo. Higher trims add connected navigation and a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system with 10 speakers.
• Fuel efficiency: The Big Bend Sasquatch with the 2.3-liter engine is rated at 18 mpg city, 17 mpg highway, and 18 mpg combined. Without the Sasquatch Package, the same test vehicle would add 4 mpg on the highway and 2 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2024 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2024 Ford Bronco is offered in 9 trim levels: Big Bend, Badlands, Bronco Raptor, and the other Bronco versions explicitly referenced in the model-year content.

Here's the short version:

• Big Bend: This is the standard trim level, so it’s the starting point if you want the Bronco’s core personality without immediately moving up the ladder. It gets the standard 12-inch Sync 4 system and the basic safety equipment, and it makes the most sense if you want the Bronco experience at the lowest entry point.
• Badlands: This trim is the better choice if you want a more trail-focused setup, especially since the 2024 update adds a more rugged front bumper here. It suits buyers who care more about capability and off-road hardware than about keeping the price down.
• Bronco Raptor: This is the performance-oriented choice, with the most powerful engine mentioned and the highest tow rating in the lineup. It’s the trim for you if you want the most extreme Bronco character and are willing to pay for it.

The safety package is strongest on trims that include the full Ford Co-Pilot360 collection, so check equipment carefully if you want the most driver-assistance content.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford Bronco?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,810 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.57% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $44,674, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $44,674 sits slightly below last year's $49,956.

That price movement suggests the Bronco has cooled from its earlier peak, which can help you as a buyer but may temper near-term resale upside if you plan to sell soon. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking a hit later because the market has already adjusted downward.

The Bronco’s strong owner satisfaction helps support demand, especially among shoppers who want a rugged SUV with personality. That should help it hold attention better than a more ordinary utility vehicle, even if fuel economy and ownership costs remain a drag.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Ford Bronco safe?

The Bronco four-door earns favorable IIHS ratings overall, though its headlight performance is rated Marginal. It also earns a four-star frontal-impact rating from NHTSA and a three-rating for rollover resistance.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford equips the Bronco Big Bend with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, and a backup camera with guidance grid lines. The available Ford Co-Pilot360 package adds lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors, with adaptive cruise control, front parking sensors, and a surround-view camera system also available.

The main caveat is that the crash-test picture is incomplete, and the Marginal headlight result is worth noting if you drive often at night. If safety is a top priority, you should look closely at the trim and option content on any used Bronco you consider.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Ford adds a standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system and updates the Bronco Badlands and Bronco Raptor.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $41,073, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $44,674 average.
• It offers broad configuration choice and strong off-road appeal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $47,344, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $44,674 average.
• It adds more modernized appeal while staying highly capable off-road.

The bottom line: the 2024 is the best all-around pick if you want the latest standard tech and a market that has softened enough to create some negotiating room. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter value play; if you want to spend more for the next model year, the 2025 is the alternative to compare.
