overall

Summary
With 359 currently listed for sale near Kansas City, MO and an average price of $42,197, 19.5% of 2024 Ford Broncos for sale on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2024 Ford Bronco 4.71 / 5 stars and CarGurus experts gave it a 6.83 / 10.
100.0% of 2024 Bronco models on CarGurus are accident free.
Why it stands out
The 2024 Ford Bronco stands out by pairing an iconic nameplate with a retro-designed SUV body. It remains appealing because it is fun to drive, comfortable, and offers plenty of cargo space. Owners also praise its off-road capability and modern features, along with the availability of unique colors.
For 2024, Ford adds a standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system, a more rugged front bumper on the Bronco Badlands, and two new colors for the Bronco Raptor. Those updates help keep the Bronco fresh while preserving its rugged character. At the same time, buyers should note its poor fuel economy, the lack of a hybrid or plug-in hybrid option, and the need for a cloth seat option.

Great car for outdoors. Ford could have provided little more storage space -- like above the glove box or behind seats. Noise level can also be further reduced, for it to be used as a commuter vehicle during week :) Overall, it is a very good alternative to Jeep providing superior offroad experience.

Bronco Wildtrak is amazing! I love the simplicity of the design, yet everything that you need is there. I bought one in the eruption green color and could not love it more.

How much does the 2024 Ford Bronco cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $45,410 |
| Year-Round Low | $45,364 |
| Year-Round High | $50,870 |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $50,871 |
| Change vs. Last Year | −10.74% |
Prices have softened 10.74% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.
There are 5,169 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and equipment.
Is the 2024 Ford Bronco a good car?
Yes — you’re looking at a model that earns 4.71/5 from owners and 6.83/10 from our experts. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.
Owners consistently praise its off-road capability, modern features, and stylish design, and many also like the unique colors. The Bronco’s appeal is strongest if you want something fun to drive, comfortable, and practical enough for cargo needs.
The trade-offs are real, though: expert testing points to poor fuel economy and a noisy, truck-like driving experience, and owners note that storage space could be better. That makes it a better fit if you value character and capability over quiet commuting polish.
Only 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market still rewards careful comparison shopping.
Is the 2024 Ford Bronco reliable?
Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The owner feedback points to a vehicle people feel good about living with over time, especially because they praise its off-road capability and modern features. That kind of repeat satisfaction usually matters more than a single flashy spec sheet when you’re trying to judge whether a used SUV will hold up in real ownership.
Expert testing also describes the Bronco as satisfying to drive and easy to live with in daily use, with good acceleration and clean shifts in the tested drivetrain. Ford also includes a complimentary Bronco Trail App, which adds useful trail information and maps for owners who plan to use the SUV as intended.
The main long-term ownership risk for used buyers is that this is still a rugged, high-commitment SUV with poor fuel economy and some comfort compromises.
What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford Bronco?
Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the Bronco has been used off-road or fitted with larger tires and other trail hardware. Focus on wear items, interior condition, and signs of hard use, since this model’s appeal often comes from capability that can also accelerate wear.
Key things to evaluate:
- Trim level: The Big Bend is the standard trim level, and the Sasquatch Package is a pricey upgrade that adds a suspension lift, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, and other off-roading equipment. Without those 35-inch tires, the Bronco can look a bit awkward, so check whether the truck you’re considering has the appearance and hardware you want.
- Powertrain: The standard turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder makes 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, while the optional turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 makes 330 hp and 415 lb-ft. A turbocharged 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 is exclusive to the Raptor and makes 418 hp and 440 lb-ft.
- Safety package: Ford Co-Pilot360 includes lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. Some features, including adaptive cruise control, front parking sensors, and a surround-view camera system, are available as options.
- Infotainment: Every Bronco gets a 12-inch Sync 4 touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, FordPass Connect services, SiriusXM 360L satellite radio, and a seven-speaker stereo. Higher trims add connected navigation and a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system with 10 speakers.
- Fuel efficiency: The tested Big Bend Sasquatch with the 2.3-liter engine, automatic transmission, and part-time 4WD is rated at 18 mpg city, 17 mpg highway, and 18 mpg combined. The same test vehicle averaged 16.9 mpg on evaluation, and Ford notes that the Sasquatch setup lowers highway and combined efficiency.
Which 2024 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?
The 2024 Ford Bronco is offered in 9 trim levels: Big Bend, Badlands, and Raptor, plus the other Bronco variants explicitly referenced in the model-year content.
Here's the short version:
- Big Bend: This is the standard trim level, so it’s the starting point if you want the Bronco experience without chasing every off-road add-on. It gets the standard 12-inch Sync 4 system, the core safety features, and the 2.3-liter turbo engine, making it the best-value starting point for most shoppers.
- Badlands: This trim is the one to look at if you want a more rugged setup, since the content specifically calls out a more rugged front bumper on the Badlands for 2024. It suits you if you want a Bronco that leans harder into trail-ready hardware.
- Raptor: This is the performance-focused choice, with the exclusive 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 and the highest tow rating mentioned. It’s the trim for you if you want maximum power and the most aggressive Bronco character.
Ford Co-Pilot360 is the key safety-package note to keep in mind, since several useful driver-assistance features are bundled there and some are optional rather than standard.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford Bronco?
This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.
- Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 5,169 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 10.74% compared with last year.
- Clean inventory: 93.8% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $45,364, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2024 Ford Bronco's resale value?
The current average of $45,410 sits slightly below last year's $50,871.
That decline suggests the market has cooled from the prior year, which can help you as a buyer but may pressure resale if you plan to sell soon. If you buy at the right price, you may have less downside than someone who paid closer to last year’s average.
The good news for future resale is that the Bronco still has strong enthusiast appeal, especially because owners rate it highly and praise its capability and style. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Is the 2024 Ford Bronco safe?
The Bronco four-door earns favorable IIHS ratings overall, though its headlight performance gets a Marginal score, and NHTSA testing is incomplete with a four-star frontal-impact rating and a three-rating for rollover resistance.
It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.
Ford equips the Bronco Big Bend with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, and a backup camera with guidance grid lines. The available Ford Co-Pilot360 package adds lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors.
The main caveat is that the crash-test picture is not perfect, especially because headlight performance is only Marginal and NHTSA results are incomplete. If safety is a top priority, you should pay close attention to which driver-assistance features are included on the specific Bronco you’re considering.
Should I buy a 2024 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2024 if:
- 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 10.74% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
- Ford adds a standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system and updates the Bronco Badlands and Raptor for 2024.
Consider the 2023 if:
- At $41,821, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $45,410 average.
- It offers nine distinct models and strong everyday usability.
Consider the 2025 if:
- At $47,869, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $45,410 average.
- It emphasizes more comfort on-road while keeping the Bronco’s rugged personality.
The bottom line: If you want the best balance of current features and softened pricing, the 2024 is the smart target. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 can save you money, while the 2025 makes sense only if you want to pay more for the newer-year alternative.
