What is the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox's resale value?

The current average of $22,471 sits slightly below last year's $23,626. That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $20,924, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $22,471 average.
• It adds extra power and remains easy to live with.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $25,966, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $22,471 average.
• It brings a fresh redesign with more standard tech and safety features.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and current-model-year appeal, the 2024 is the primary pick. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the better value play, while the 2025 makes sense if you want the newest redesign and can stretch your budget.
