How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro cost?

Prices have softened 1.59% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 915 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and the Camaro’s overview backs that up with a clear focus on rear-wheel-drive performance, strong driving dynamics, and everyday usability. You also get the appeal of a coupe or convertible body style, plus a final-year sixth-generation package that gives the car added significance if you want a modern muscle car with a distinctive place in the lineup. The tradeoff is that the interior is described as cheaply outfitted, and poor outward visibility may matter if you plan to use it often. With 34.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes reliability as above average overall, which is encouraging if you want a used performance car that still has a practical side. It also notes that the sixth-generation cars from 2016 to 2018 were the most problematic, with trunk leaks that can lead to electrical issues. For you as a used buyer, that means the 2024 model should still be approached with a careful inspection, but the long-term ownership risk looks more manageable than it does for the earlier trouble spots in the generation.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Camaro?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every candidate, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. Put inspection priority on body condition, signs of prior repairs, and anything that could affect visibility, interior wear, or daily usability. Because the Camaro’s overview points to cheaply finished interiors and poor outward visibility, those are the areas where a careful in-person check matters most.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Camaro?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 915 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.59% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,064, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro's resale value?

The current average of $43,802 sits slightly below last year's $44,509.

That small decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy with less pressure today. For a future seller, the current pricing pattern points to a model that still has demand, but one where condition and history will matter a lot when it comes time to resell. The Camaro’s final-year status may also help support interest from shoppers who want a specific generation rather than just any used performance coupe.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Camaro or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.59% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the last year of the sixth-generation Camaro, the 2024 is the one to target because it combines strong user satisfaction, decent inventory, and a softer price trend. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-priced example rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
