Is the 2024 Buick Envision a good car?

The 2024 Buick Envision stands out as a compact SUV that leans harder into upscale presentation than many mainstream rivals. Buick’s QuietTuning refinement, stylish interior treatment, and distinctive front-end design help give it a more premium feel, while the model’s standard 30-inch curved display adds a modern cabin centerpiece.

For you, that means the Envision makes the most sense if you want a comfortable, well-equipped SUV with a richer-feeling interior and a more contemporary look without moving into a true luxury-brand price bracket. It is also positioned in the upper half of Buick’s SUV lineup, which reinforces its role as one of the brand’s more polished offerings.

37.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a meaningful share of market-friendly options to consider.

Is the 2024 Buick Envision reliable?

The 2024 Buick Envision’s appeal is rooted in Buick’s QuietTuning refinement, a comfortable ride, and generous standard equipment. It also benefits from a modernized cabin and updated infotainment software, which should make day-to-day use feel more current.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright complexity and more about making sure the vehicle has been maintained well and still feels tight, quiet, and consistent in everyday driving.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Buick Envision?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the specific listing matches the seller’s description. Put inspection priority on the condition of the interior electronics, the display system, and the overall ride quality, since those are the areas most likely to shape your ownership experience. Focus on signs of wear, prior repairs, and any inconsistencies in how the vehicle presents and drives.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Buick Envision?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right one.

• Deal availability: 37.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,040 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.98% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,306, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Buick Envision's resale value?

The current average of $26,306 sits slightly below last year's $29,221.

That price movement suggests the model has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a softer market than they would have a year ago. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you should be better positioned to protect value when it is time to sell. The key is to avoid overpaying now, since resale strength will depend heavily on how much room you leave between your purchase price and the market average.

Should I buy a 2024 Buick Envision or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.98% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the better pick if you want the updated look, the standard 30-inch display, and a more contemporary cabin at a used-market price that has already softened. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still be worth comparing, but the 2024 gives you the most modern version of the Envision’s upscale formula.
