How much does the 2024 BMW M4 cost?

Prices have softened 4.17% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 365 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 BMW M4 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 BMW M4 earns a 5/5 user rating, which supports its appeal as a high-performance coupe or convertible that still works for everyday use. The overview points to a serious twin-turbo inline-six, strong standard output, and a choice of manual or automatic transmission, so you get a focused driving experience without giving up refinement. It also offers modern equipment like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus available M Carbon bucket seats, which helps it feel current and well equipped. With 32.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 BMW M4 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests a car built to deliver strong performance while still feeling usable day to day, with a refined cabin and modern tech features. That combination usually matters to used buyers because it points to a car that can satisfy both enthusiast expectations and regular driving needs. For long-term ownership, you should still pay close attention to maintenance history and condition, since high-performance cars can be more sensitive to neglect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW M4?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm accident status, title status, and service records. Then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a performance car where wear can show up in brakes, tires, suspension, and drivetrain components. Focus on overall condition and maintenance consistency rather than just mileage, because a well-kept example is likely to be the better buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW M4?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 365 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.17% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $75,590, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW M4's resale value?

The current average of $76,245 sits slightly below last year's $79,566.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also temper short-term resale upside if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, the current softness means your return will depend more on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been maintained. Strong examples should still hold attention because the model has clear enthusiast appeal and a premium-performance identity.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW M4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $72,140, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $76,245 average.
• It adds a rare, track-focused special edition.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $89,328, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $76,245 average.
• It adds a refresh and a slight power bump for Competition xDrive models.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want a strong mix of performance, usability, and current-market value. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better secondary path, especially if you want a lower entry price and can live without the newer-year positioning.
