How much does the 2024 BMW M4 cost?

Prices have softened 4.16% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 362 listings available, which gives you a meaningful but not oversized pool to compare.

Is the 2024 BMW M4 a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 BMW M4. The overview describes it as a high-performance coupe or convertible that still works as an everyday car, with serious speed, a well-equipped cabin, and strong long-term desirability. If you want a performance-focused BMW that balances driving excitement with real-world usability, this model year fits that brief well. 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 BMW M4 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview says it has a good reliability record so far, which supports confidence if you plan to keep it beyond the first few years. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about basic dependability and more about higher running costs if you choose a higher-spec example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW M4?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks for signs of hard use or poor maintenance. Pay close attention to overall condition, since performance cars can vary widely depending on how they were driven and cared for. If possible, compare service records and look closely at wear items so you know whether the car has been treated like a daily driver or a weekend toy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW M4?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 362 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.16% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $75,590, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW M4's resale value?

The current average of $75,743 sits slightly below last year's $79,028.

That decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future sellers may face some price pressure if the trend continues. Even so, the M4's strong desirability and performance-focused reputation should help it hold attention better than many mainstream used cars. Well-kept examples with clean history and desirable equipment should remain easier to move when you're ready to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW M4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $71,751, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $75,743 average.
• It adds rare CSL exclusivity and motorsport credibility.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $87,530, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $75,743 average.
• It adds a refresh and a slight power bump for Competition xDrive models.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want strong performance, solid satisfaction, and a healthier used-market price than the newer model year. If you're more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the better value play, especially if you want to save money while staying in the same performance family.
