Is the 2024 Audi A5 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Audi A5 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong overall satisfaction. The overview describes it as a stylish luxury car with a premium feel, a practical body style, and a well-equipped cabin. It also highlights standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus added driver-assistance technology for 2024, which makes it appealing if you want a refined daily driver with useful tech and a more versatile shape than many rivals. 43.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent amount of market opportunity.

Is the 2024 Audi A5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The overview points to a polished, secure driving experience, a strong mix of standard equipment, and Audi’s rear-biased quattro AWD system, all of which support the impression of a well-sorted luxury car. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a premium model like this can be more expensive to keep in top condition if prior maintenance has been inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Audi A5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm the car’s background and look for any prior damage or title issues. Put inspection priority on the cabin, electronics, and overall condition, since this model’s appeal depends heavily on its premium feel and useful technology. Also pay close attention to how well the car has been maintained, because a luxury vehicle that looks good on paper can still hide deferred upkeep.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi A5?

This looks like a buyer-friendly market, with enough inventory and meaningful deal availability to give you leverage.

• Deal availability: 43.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,047 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.13% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 96.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $50,276, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Audi A5's resale value?

The current average of $50,979 sits slightly below last year's $53,737.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more favorably now but may also mean future resale gains are limited if the trend continues. For a seller, a softer market usually means you need to price competitively and present the car well to stand out. Strong condition and clean history matter more when shoppers have plenty of comparable listings to choose from.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi A5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 43.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, inventory choice, and buyer leverage, the 2024 is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may still want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
