Used 2023 Toyota GR Corolla for Sale nearWashington, DC

How much does the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla cost?

Prices are up 3.71% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 200 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla a good car?

The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla is a strong choice if you want a hot hatch that blends everyday hatchback practicality with serious performance hardware. It earns a user rating of 3.7/5 and an expert rating of 7.3/10.

The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Safety.

Toyota’s Gazoo Racing tuning gives it a 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine, standard all-wheel drive, and aggressive bodywork, and the expert notes highlight great handling and a powerful engine. The trade-offs are that its design may be polarizing and it can be noisy, so it fits you best if you want something lively and attention-grabbing rather than quiet and understated.

With 33.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla reliable?

The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla is presented as a brand-new performance hatch with Toyota’s usual safety-minded approach and a strong standard equipment list. The expert notes also emphasize that it keeps a manual transmission, standard all-wheel drive, and a robust set of driver-assistance features.

Its performance hardware is straightforward: a 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine, a six-speed manual, and standard AWD. The expert notes also point to rev-matching, limited-slip differentials on higher trims, and a chassis that stays composed even when driven hard.

Toyota includes a suite of standard driver-assistance features, and the car also gets ten airbags. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a performance-focused hatchback may have been driven harder than a typical Corolla, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Toyota GR Corolla?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially because this is a performance-oriented hatchback that may have seen spirited use. Focus on tire wear, brake condition, clutch feel, and signs of hard driving or track use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Core trim is the starting point and gets the basic GR Corolla formula, while the Circuit trim adds a carbon-fiber roof and limited-slip differentials, and the Morizo trim goes further with a rear-seat delete, more structural bracing, and lighter, track-focused hardware. The base trim is the one most likely to leave you wanting the extra performance hardware if you plan to drive hard.
• Powertrain: Every trim uses a 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine with a six-speed manual and standard all-wheel drive. Core and Circuit trims make 300 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, while the Morizo increases torque to 295 pound-feet.
• Safety package: Toyota includes a standard suite of driver assistance features with automatic emergency braking, lane-departure assist with steering assist, lane-tracing assist, adaptive cruise control, and road-sign assistance. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard.
• Infotainment: The GR Corolla gets an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, dual-device Bluetooth connectivity, and a 12.3-inch driver information display. An eight-speaker JBL stereo is available on the Core and Circuit trims but not on the Morizo.
• Fuel efficiency: The GR Corolla requires premium fuel, and the expert notes do not provide an MPG or MPGe figure.

Which 2023 Toyota GR Corolla trim should I buy?

The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla is offered in 3 trim levels: Core, Circuit Edition, and Morizo Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Core: This is the entry point and the best-value choice if you want the GR Corolla experience without paying for the more specialized hardware. You still get the turbo-three engine, standard all-wheel drive, and the full performance personality, plus the available JBL stereo and the standard safety suite.
• Circuit Edition: This is the trim that most clearly stands out as the sweet spot. It adds a carbon-fiber roof and limited-slip differentials, giving you more performance hardware than the Core for less money than the Morizo.
• Morizo Edition: This is the most extreme version, with more torque, lighter track-focused equipment, a rear-seat delete, and extra chassis bracing. It suits you best if you care most about track-day capability and can live with the compromises.

Toyota’s standard safety package is included across the lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Toyota GR Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you should shop carefully and move quickly when you find a strong listing.

• Deal availability: 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 200 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.71% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 92.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,587, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $37,046 sits slightly above last year's $35,721.

That year-over-year increase suggests the GR Corolla has held demand well for a performance hatchback. If you buy one in good condition, you may benefit from relatively steady pricing compared with a softer market.

The current price trend also hints that well-kept examples should remain desirable to future shoppers. For a seller, that means clean history, strong maintenance records, and desirable trim content should help support resale.

Is the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla safe?

The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla has not yet been crash-tested by NHTSA or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota equips it with a standard safety suite that includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure assist with steering assist, lane-tracing assist, adaptive cruise control, road-sign assistance, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a rear-view camera with parking aid lines. It also includes ten airbags.

The main caveat is that this is a brand-new performance model, so formal crash-test results are not yet available. Even so, the standard driver-assistance coverage is broad for a manual-transmission hot hatch.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota GR Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.71% year-over-year.
• This year introduces the GR Corolla as an all-new hot hatch with standard all-wheel drive, a turbocharged three-cylinder engine, and a strong expert score.

The bottom line: If you want the first-year GR Corolla with its full performance identity and strong standard equipment, the 2023 is the clear path. If you are more price-sensitive, keep an eye on listings and be ready to move on a clean, well-priced example rather than waiting for a dramatic discount.
