Used 2023 Subaru Legacy for Sale near Oklahoma

How much does the 2023 Subaru Legacy cost?

Prices have softened 9.10% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 861 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Subaru Legacy a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. The 2023 Legacy stands out because it combines standard all-wheel drive with a level of safety and technology that helped define the model’s reputation. It also received a mid-cycle refresh with a revised front fascia, a larger grille, sharper headlights, and safety system updates, which helps it feel current while keeping its core appeal as a comfortable, well-equipped midsize sedan. For you, that means it makes the most sense if you want a practical sedan with standard AWD, strong safety content, and a refined ride. 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Subaru Legacy reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2023 Legacy benefits from the broader strengths of the seventh generation, which is described as the safest and most technically advanced version of the Legacy. Subaru also gave it a more spacious interior, a stiffer chassis, better ride quality, and a quieter cabin, all of which support everyday durability and comfort. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that condition can vary widely, so you should pay close attention to maintenance history and how well the car has been cared for.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Subaru Legacy?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully, because even a strong accident-free share does not guarantee the specific car you’re considering has a clean past. Put inspection priority on the body, tires, brakes, and cabin condition, then confirm that the car’s features and electronics work as expected. Since the Legacy’s appeal depends heavily on comfort, safety tech, and all-wheel-drive confidence, you’ll want to focus on signs of wear that could affect daily use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Subaru Legacy?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 861 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.10% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 82.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,496, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Subaru Legacy's resale value?

The current average of $21,496 sits slightly below last year's $23,649.

That price movement suggests the Legacy has softened enough to give you a better entry point today, but it also means future sellers may face some pressure if the market stays soft. If you buy well now and keep the car in strong condition, you can help protect your resale position later. The model’s standard AWD and safety-focused reputation should continue to support demand among practical sedan shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Subaru Legacy or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.10% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best fit if you want the refreshed look, standard AWD, and a strong mix of safety and comfort without stretching to a newer model year. If your priority is simply the lowest possible price, a nearby year may be worth considering, but the 2023 offers a balanced sweet spot between value and updated equipment.
