What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Hyundai Venue?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection if the listing looks promising. Pay close attention to overall condition, since a budget-friendly city SUV can show wear in ways that aren’t obvious from photos alone. It’s also smart to evaluate how the cabin, cargo area, and controls have held up, because those are the areas you’ll use most.

What is the 2023 Hyundai Venue's resale value?

The current average of $18,062 sits slightly below last year's $18,214.

That small decline suggests the Venue has been holding value fairly steadily rather than swinging sharply. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern can be helpful because it points to a market that remains relatively predictable. The Venue’s value-focused reputation also supports demand among shoppers who want an affordable, easy-to-own SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Hyundai Venue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $19,004, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $18,062 average.
• It adds wireless smartphone integration and a stronger warranty-backed ownership package.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2023 is the primary path because it combines a lower average price with solid deal availability and strong owner satisfaction. If you’re willing to pay more for newer-model-year benefits and added convenience features, the 2024 is the better secondary path for buyers who prioritize those upgrades over upfront savings.
