How much does the 2023 Hyundai Tucson cost?

Prices have softened 4.64% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,377 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Hyundai Tucson earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners repeatedly praise the smooth driving experience, the modern and feature-rich interior, and the overall value for money. That fits especially well if you want a compact SUV that leans into value, technology, and everyday comfort. With 38.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful number of attractive options to consider.

Is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with praise centered on the vehicle’s smooth driving character and overall confidence over time. For used buyers, that suggests lower long-term ownership risk if you choose a well-kept example and verify its history carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Hyundai Tucson?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re serious about, even if the vehicle appears clean on paper. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on overall condition, signs of prior repairs, and how well the cabin and electronics have been maintained. Because this model is valued for comfort and features, make sure everything works as intended and that the vehicle’s condition matches the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Hyundai Tucson?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,377 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.64% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,600, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson's resale value?

The current average of $22,600 sits slightly below last year's $23,699.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also temper short-term resale upside. If you plan to sell later, a model that enters ownership at a lower purchase price can help offset some depreciation pressure. Strong demand for well-equipped, comfortable compact SUVs should still support interest from future shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Hyundai Tucson or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $19,786, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $22,600 average.
• It offers a larger redesigned cabin with more room.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $23,471, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $22,600 average.
• It adds a more refined, well-rounded package with stronger everyday appeal.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2023 if you want the best balance of price, owner satisfaction, and available inventory. If your priority is spending less, the 2022 is the better value play; if you want to stretch for a newer-feeling package, the 2024 is the next step up.
