Great car. Only issues I see are a lackluster torque from the V6 and poor gas mileage compared to others. The ride is smooth but feels a bit land yacht ish.

I opted for the Touring. This car is a smooth ride, has an aggressive appearance and design which I love. My wife and I often thought we own a Pilot when we expanded our family. However, we were strongly considering the Subaru Ascent because we didn’t like the previous Pilot’s iteration’ with a more rounded design. Doing our due diligence we went to Honda after test driving the Ascent and fell in love. The 8-passenger converts to captains chairs with a removable middle seat that you can store in the hidden cargo compartment. This gives the vehicle great flexible and so much more roominess when needed. I love my moon roof and Bose sound system. I also love the height of the vehicle with my 20 inch wheels.

It rode decent, however engine was loud. transmission was sluggish and loud. Infotainment is lacking and screen is very small compared to competitors. Interior is not well laid out. Honda really missed here!
