How much does the 2023 GMC Yukon XL cost?

Prices have softened 11.21% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,575 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 GMC Yukon XL a good car?

Yes — the 2023 GMC Yukon XL earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spaciousness, value compared with pricier alternatives, features, style, and drivability. That lines up well with its role as a large family hauler for buyers who need serious passenger and cargo room. With 37.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2023 GMC Yukon XL reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers feel good about living with over time, especially when it comes to spaciousness and overall value. The recurring praise for drivability and features also suggests a model that can work well as a long-term family vehicle. A few owners have noted electrical issues and rearview mirror functionality concerns, so used buyers should pay close attention to those areas before committing.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 GMC Yukon XL?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm the vehicle’s background and look for any accident or title issues. Then prioritize a thorough inspection of the electrical system and rearview mirror functionality, since those are the main concerns raised by owners. Because this is a large, truck-based SUV, you should also focus on overall condition, especially if the vehicle has been used for family hauling or long-distance travel.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 GMC Yukon XL?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,575 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.21% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $54,197, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 GMC Yukon XL's resale value?

The current average of $54,197 sits slightly below last year's $61,041.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can matter if you plan to sell later. A lower current average can make the vehicle more accessible now, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the SUV is maintained. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand, especially for a vehicle that buyers want for space and flexibility.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 GMC Yukon XL or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is a strong choice if you want the Yukon XL’s space, flexibility, and owner-approved comfort at a price that has eased from last year. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, history, and asking price.
