Used 2023 Ford Expedition for Sale nearAkron, OH

How much does the 2023 Ford Expedition cost?

Prices have softened 5.77% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,962 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Ford Expedition a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Ford Expedition earns a user rating of 5/5, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its family-friendly features, generous space for car seats, and comfortable ride. The review summary also highlights decent gas mileage for a large vehicle and good power, which fits a full-size SUV built for hauling people and gear. For you, that means it makes the most sense if you want a roomy, practical family hauler with truck-based capability. The market also shows 34.1% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Ford Expedition reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable ownership experience, with praise for comfort, space, and the kind of everyday usability that helps a large SUV feel easy to live with. The review summary also suggests it can be counted on for family duty and long trips, which matters when you plan to keep a vehicle for years. For used buyers, that kind of satisfaction can reduce long-term ownership risk, especially if the vehicle has been maintained well.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Ford Expedition?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace documentation. Put inspection priority on the condition of the cabin, electronics, and any signs of heavy family use, since this model is often chosen for passenger duty. It also makes sense to focus on overall wear and maintenance records so you can judge whether the SUV has been used as a daily hauler or a harder-working family vehicle.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Ford Expedition?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,962 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.77% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $44,737, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Ford Expedition's resale value?

The current average of $45,691 sits slightly below last year's $48,488.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if prices keep easing. If you plan to sell later, the current trend points to a vehicle that should remain in demand, but not one that is likely to appreciate in the near term. Strong condition and a clean history will matter even more if you want to protect value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Ford Expedition or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $39,461, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $45,691 average.
• It offers strong presence, power, space, and technology.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of satisfaction, inventory, and pricing, the 2023 is the better primary target. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the more budget-friendly path and still gives you the core Expedition strengths.
