Used 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor for Sale near Arizona

How much does the 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor cost?

Prices have softened 9.77% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 708 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

It is built as the range-topping Bronco, and the overview makes clear that it is aimed at buyers who want extreme off-road capability rather than a quiet, efficiency-first SUV. The expert notes back that up with strong powertrains, serious trail hardware, and easy-to-use technology.

The main trade-offs are lots of road noise and poor fuel economy, so you are buying capability first and comfort or efficiency second. Even so, the market still shows 31.1% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview and expert notes both point to a vehicle that is engineered around durability-minded capability, with strong powertrains and rugged hardware. The performance notes also emphasize substantial off-road running gear, while the cost-effectiveness notes mention a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty.

The dependability story is strongest if you value a purpose-built SUV and are comfortable with the compromises that come with that mission. For used buyers, the biggest long-term ownership risk is that hard use and trail wear can matter more here than on a typical SUV, so condition history is especially important.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the vehicle may have seen off-road use. Focus on suspension, tires, underbody condition, and signs of hard use or modifications. Because this is a specialized SUV, condition matters as much as mileage.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Base trim starts with 16-inch steel wheels, cloth upholstery, manually adjustable front seats, an 8-inch touchscreen, and an 8-inch digital instrument panel, while higher trims add more comfort, convenience, and off-road hardware. The Bronco Raptor sits at the top with larger fender flares, a taller suspension, 37-inch tires, and a reinforced frame.
• Powertrain: The Bronco Raptor uses a twin-turbo V6 with 410 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque, paired with 4WD and a 10-speed automatic transmission. The standard Bronco engine lineup also includes a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and a 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and automatic high beams. Big Bend adds lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
• Infotainment: The base system uses an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. An available 12-inch screen adds navigation, and the layout is designed to be easy to use.
• Fuel efficiency: The Bronco Raptor returns 15 mpg city, 16 highway, 15 combined.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a fire sale.

• Deal availability: 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 708 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.77% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $64,846, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor's resale value?

The current average of $64,846 sits slightly below last year's $71,864.

That decline suggests the market has cooled from where it was a year ago, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper near-term resale expectations. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later.

The Bronco Raptor’s niche appeal still helps support demand, especially among shoppers who want a highly capable off-road SUV. Strong condition, clean history, and desirable equipment should matter a lot when you eventually resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor safe?

The Bronco earns three-star ratings in rollover and four-star ratings in frontal crash testing from NHTSA. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gives it a Good score in most areas, with Acceptable for Rear Crash Protection and Marginal for headlights.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver assistance features include automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and automatic high beams. Big Bend adds lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Front parking sensors are also available as an option.

The Marginal headlights result is the main safety caveat to keep in mind.

Should I buy a 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines extreme off-road hardware with easy-to-use technology and strong powertrains.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $61,804, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $64,846 average.
• It is an extreme off-road machine with real-world usability.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current-year pricing, inventory, and satisfaction, the 2023 is the better target. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is the more price-sensitive path and still delivers the core Bronco Raptor experience.
