The Ford Bronco Raptor was added to the Bronco lineup in 2022, and while it has received some package features and appearance options, there haven't been any major changes in the last four years. The Bronco Raptor is a midsize body-on-frame SUV that competes in a very niche segment of high-performance, desert-running SUVs. Primary competitors include the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 and the Land Rover Defender Octa. The 2026 Ford Bronco Raptor is a standalone trim at the top end of the Bronco lineup.

What’s New for the 2026 Ford Bronco Raptor
There have been no mechanical changes to the Ford Bronco Raptor since its introduction in 2022, and the updates it has received over the last few years have been minor. New for 2026, the Bronco Raptor gets a standard digital rear-view mirror, a leather gearshift knob, a new Avalanche Gray paint, and some additional accessories and option packages.
Design
The standard Ford Bronco has a very upright stance and rugged appearance, while the Raptor adds wider fender flares, a vented hood, a standard modular steel front bumper, and beefier 37-inch all-terrain tires on 17-inch wheels. It also has a trio of federally mandated amber marker lights because the body width exceeds 80 inches. Even though the Raptor model looks drastically different than the other Bronco models, it still offers a number of appearance packages, including the Black Appearance Package, the Shadow Black Appearance Package, and the Code Orange Appearance Package. There are also some Raptor graphics available with various packages.
Powertrain
The 2026 Ford Bronco Raptor has a single powertrain option: a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that delivers 418 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque. It has standard four-wheel drive (4WD), is only available with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and has a maximum tow rating of 4,500 pounds. The EPA-estimated fuel economy is 15 mpg in the city and 16 mpg on the highway.

Interior
For such a rugged vehicle, the 2026 Ford Bronco Raptor has a surprisingly premium and advanced interior. It has large digital displays, heated front-row seats, a heated steering wheel, and rubberized flooring with drain plugs. Standard seating surfaces are black vinyl, and leather-and-vinyl trimmed seats are available. While the Bronco Raptor seats five passengers and has 35.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row, just like the regular Bronco, it has less overall cargo space, at 72.9 cubic feet behind the first row. There is no moonroof because the hard-top roof on the Bronco Raptor is removable.
Technology
The 2026 Bronco Raptor has two 12-inch digital displays—one for the gauge cluster and one for the infotainment screen. The Bronco Raptor is also packed with standard tech features, such as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a surround-view camera system with off-road views, low-speed off-road cruise control, Trail Turn Assist, Trail One-Pedal Drive, seven GOAT (Goes Over All Terrain) drive modes, and a premium 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system. A Wi-Fi hotspot is available as part of the Ford Connectivity Package, and comes with a one-year free trial.
