There are 180 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Audi A5 a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2023 Audi A5, and it fits a car that blends sleek design with everyday usability. The A5’s appeal comes from its premium feel, sporty character, and broader body-style range, which makes it more practical than its earliest coupe-only roots. It also brings useful technology and a polished interior, so you get a luxury car that works well as a daily driver. With 34.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2023 Audi A5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Audi A5 is described as a premium, well-equipped car with a strong safety record, including recognition from both IIHS and NHTSA. Its standard all-wheel-drive setup and rear-biased quattro system also support a composed, confidence-inspiring driving experience. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the car has been maintained carefully, since premium vehicles can become expensive if deferred maintenance has piled up.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Audi A5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any listing you like, even if the market looks clean overall. Put inspection priority on the condition of the body, interior, and electronics, since this is a premium car where cosmetic wear and feature issues can matter. Focus especially on how well the car has been cared for, because a polished luxury model is only a good buy if its condition matches its asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Audi A5?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 180 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.46% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,558, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Audi A5's resale value?

The current average of $36,353 sits slightly below last year's $38,866.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also mean a future sale could face some downward pressure if the trend continues. If you plan to resell later, the A5’s premium image and broad appeal should still help it attract shoppers. A well-kept example with strong presentation is more likely to hold attention than one with visible wear or a rough history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi A5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.46% compared with last year.

The bottom line:

The 2023 Audi A5 is a strong choice if you want a stylish, premium-feeling used car with useful technology and a market that currently gives you some negotiating room. If your priority is value, this year looks appealing because prices have softened and deal availability is decent. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a similar car offers a lower entry point with the same basic appeal.
