Used 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class for Sale nearAnaheim, CA

How much does the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class cost?

Prices have softened 10.86% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,921 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of cars to compare.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the expert rating is 7.83/10. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

The 2022 C-Class is positioned as a more upscale compact luxury sedan, borrowing design cues from Mercedes-Benz’s flagship S-Class and aiming to give you the most Mercedes for your money. That shows up in the stylish cabin, strong ride quality, and high-tech presentation.

The trade-offs are worth weighing: the transmission can be irritating, and performance is described as sluggish. If you want a small luxury sedan that emphasizes refinement and technology over outright speed, this setup makes sense.

35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 C-Class is built around a turbocharged four-cylinder with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, and Mercedes says the setup can contribute extra power in short bursts. That kind of electrified assist can help smooth everyday driving, even if the test-drive notes still point to some roughness in the power delivery.

Mercedes also includes a four-year, 50,000-mile basic warranty and a four-year, 50,000-mile powertrain warranty, which helps support early ownership confidence. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the car’s premium complexity can make upkeep more demanding than a simpler mainstream sedan.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the transmission behavior, since the test-drive notes call out rough shifts and delayed response. You should also pay close attention to cabin condition and feature operation, because this car’s appeal depends heavily on its tech and luxury equipment.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Premium trim gives you the core luxury look and standard tech, while the Exclusive and Pinnacle trims add more equipment and a more upscale feel. The base setup still uses MBTex synthetic leather, so if you want a richer cabin, higher trims are the ones to target.
• Powertrain: The C300 uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic and a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. The powertrain can feel delayed off the line and the transmission can be rough, so test it in stop-and-go traffic and on a highway merge.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with safe exit assist, a driver-attention monitor, Pre-Safe, and Pre-Safe Sound. Optional features include lane-keep assist, evasive steering assist, a 360-degree camera system, park assist, and two levels of Distronic adaptive cruise control.
• Infotainment: Even the base car gets a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and an 11.9-inch touchscreen, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Higher trims add a Burmester 3D surround-sound system, a head-up display, and augmented-reality navigation.
• Fuel efficiency: The C300 is rated at 29 mpg combined with rear-wheel drive and 27 mpg combined with all-wheel drive. In testing, the AWD car averaged close to 25 mpg.

Which 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class trim should I buy?

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Exclusive, and Pinnacle.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, but it still gives you a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, an 11.9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 18-inch wheels, a sunroof, and ambient lighting. It is the best-value choice if you want the core C-Class experience without paying for extras you may not need.
• Exclusive: This trim adds more equipment for a modest step up in price, making it a good middle ground if you want a more complete luxury feel without going all the way to the top trim.
• Pinnacle: This is the most fully equipped version, adding a head-up display and augmented-reality navigation. Choose it if you want the most advanced tech and the most upscale presentation.

Standard safety equipment is already strong, but optional driver-assistance features and higher-trim tech can make a meaningful difference if you want a more complete package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,921 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.86% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,250, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class's resale value?

The current average of $30,250 sits slightly below last year's $33,937.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that also means your resale outcome will depend heavily on how well you preserve condition, mileage, and service history.

Because the C-Class is a premium model with strong tech and luxury appeal, well-kept examples should continue to attract interest. Cars with the right trim and clean history are likely to hold buyer attention better than neglected or poorly equipped ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with safe exit assist, a driver-attention monitor, Pre-Safe, and Pre-Safe Sound. Optional features include lane-keep assist, evasive steering assist, a 360-degree camera system, dashcam, park assist, and two levels of Distronic adaptive cruise control.

The 2022 model did not have crash-test ratings available at the time of publication, so you should not assume it carries over the prior year’s results. That makes the standard driver-assistance suite especially important when you evaluate a used example.

Should I buy a 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The redesigned cabin and S-Class-inspired styling make this year feel especially upscale for the segment.

The bottom line: If you want the most modern C-Class look and a strong mix of luxury, tech, and value, the 2022 is the one to target. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2022’s softer pricing and strong equipment list make it the more compelling pick for many shoppers.
