For 2022, Lexus added Haku decorative metal trim to the interior options list, and the model also received important safety upgrades through the Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 suite. That package brought enhancements to the pre-collision system, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian and cyclist detection, adaptive cruise control, and lane-departure warning with steering assist. Lane-change assist was also added to the lane-tracing assist system, making the LS feel more current in everyday driving.
