What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Ford Bronco Sport?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a vehicle history report first, then focus on a thorough inspection of the body, interior, and any signs of hard use. A careful test drive should confirm that the vehicle feels tight, clean, and consistent with its mileage and asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Bronco Sport?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,682 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.99% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 84.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,737, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford Bronco Sport's resale value?

The current average of $21,737 sits slightly below last year's $24,699.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, condition and documentation will matter more because buyers will have plenty of comparable listings to choose from. Strong owner satisfaction can still help support demand when it is time to move on.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $19,826, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $21,737 average.
• It delivers lively, capable, and attractive on- and off-pavement character.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2022 is the better starting point. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2021 is the more budget-friendly alternative and still brings much of the same adventurous appeal.
