Used 2022 Chevrolet Blazer for Sale nearPhoenix, AZ

How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer cost?

Prices have softened 11.84% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,817 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 7/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its stylish design, powerful engine options, and comfortable ride. They also like the sporty handling and spacious interior, and many point to the V6 performance as a standout.

The trade-offs are that it can feel more adequate than exciting, with uncomfortable seats and poor visibility among the main drawbacks. In practical terms, it fits you best if you want a midsize SUV with distinctive styling, easy-to-use tech, and everyday usefulness rather than a highly engaging all-around package.

With 31.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe it as dependable and trouble-free in the ways that matter most for everyday use, with confidence in its long-term appeal. The expert drive notes also emphasize that the Blazer’s technology is easy to use and that its advanced driver-assistance systems work smoothly rather than feeling intrusive.

That said, used buyers should still focus on maintenance history, seat wear, and visibility-related condition issues, since those are the kinds of ownership concerns that can affect long-term satisfaction.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Blazer?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 79% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a vehicle history report on every candidate and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing has been optioned heavily or shows signs of hard use. Pay close attention to seat condition, visibility aids, and whether the equipment on the car matches the trim level you expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2LT, 3LT, Premier, and RS trims differ in styling and equipment, and the base setup does not include the RS’s V6 or its more sophisticated twin-clutch AWD system.
• Powertrain: The standard engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, while the RS adds a 3.6-liter V6 with 308 hp and 270 lb-ft; the V6 can tow up to 4,500 pounds.
• Safety package: Chevy Safety Assist is standard and includes forward-collision warning, pedestrian detection, low-speed automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Adaptive cruise control with enhanced automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and the Safety Alert Seat are available.
• Infotainment: The Blazer uses an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard, plus available satellite radio, connected navigation, enhanced voice recognition, wireless charging, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The available information notes an official EPA combined figure of 21 mpg for the RS AWD test vehicle, and testing returned 20.5 mpg in mixed driving.

Which 2022 Chevrolet Blazer trim should I buy?

The 2022 Chevrolet Blazer is offered in 4 trim levels: 2LT, 3LT, Premier, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• 2LT: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the Blazer’s styling, standard turbo-four power, and easy-to-use tech without paying for extras you may not need.
• 3LT: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it opens the door to more equipment and also allows the available V6, giving you more flexibility without jumping straight to the top trim.
• Premier: Choose this if you want a more upscale look and feel, including the revised exterior details mentioned for 2022, while still staying below the RS’s sportier personality.
• RS: Pick this if you want the strongest performance character, since it brings the standard V6 and the more sophisticated dual-clutch AWD system, along with the sportiest presentation.

Chevy Safety Assist is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core driver-assistance suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Blazer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,817 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.84% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 79.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,293, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?

The current average of $23,293 sits slightly below last year's $26,421.

That price movement suggests the Blazer has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right price. If you keep mileage reasonable and maintain the vehicle well, you should be in a better position when it comes time to sell.

The model’s strong owner satisfaction also helps support demand in the used market. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Blazer safe?

The 2022 Chevrolet Blazer does not earn a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS because its headlights fall short of the organization’s top illumination standards.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Chevy Safety Assist is standard and includes forward-collision warning, pedestrian detection, low-speed automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. The Blazer also includes a rear-seat reminder and Teen Driver technology, while available upgrades include adaptive cruise control with enhanced automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and the Safety Alert Seat.

The main caveat is that the available LED headlights do not appear to help enough to secure the top IIHS honor, so lighting performance is the key safety shortcoming to keep in mind.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Blazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 79% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It blends Camaro-inspired style with easy-to-use tech and practical cargo space.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $20,637, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,293 average.
• It emphasizes style and driving feel, with easy-to-use technology.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $26,778, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $23,293 average.
• It adds a larger touchscreen and available wireless charging across the lineup.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and current-market availability, the 2022 is the strongest default choice. If your budget is tighter, the 2021 can save you money, while the 2023 makes sense if you want the newer tech upgrades and are willing to pay more.
