How much does the 2022 BMW X6 cost?

Is the 2022 BMW X6 a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. The 2022 BMW X6 stands out because it blends the X6’s original coupe-like SUV shape with the third generation’s more aggressive stance and upscale hardware. It also brings strong performance, a luxury-heavy interior, and a distinctive design that feels more special than a conventional midsize luxury SUV. The tradeoff is that you’re accepting poor cargo space and poor fuel economy in exchange for style and performance. 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2022 BMW X6 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2022 BMW X6 pairs strong performance with an eight-speed automatic, standard all-wheel-drive hardware on the xDrive40i, and available air suspension, all of which support a premium driving experience. It also comes with a long list of luxury and technology features, including dual 12.3-inch displays, navigation, and a panoramic moonroof. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a high-performance luxury SUV can be more expensive to maintain if prior care was inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 BMW X6?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.6% — always verify the vehicle history report. You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the vehicle closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or deferred maintenance. Because this model emphasizes performance and luxury, condition matters a lot, especially on the suspension, interior electronics, and overall cosmetic presentation.

If you find a listing below $46,122, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 BMW X6's resale value?

The current average of $46,122 sits slightly below last year's $51,515. That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 BMW X6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 is a strong choice if you want the updated look, strong performance, and a market that has become more buyer-friendly. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year with a lower average price may be the better path, but the 2022 remains the more compelling pick if you want the best balance of style, equipment, and current pricing.
