Used 2022 Audi Q8 for Sale near Illinois

How much does the 2022 Audi Q8 cost?

Prices have softened 16.55% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 827 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2022 Audi Q8 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2022 Q8 stands out as Audi’s flagship SUV with a more exclusive, coupe-like shape than the Q7 it’s based on, and it uses only two rows of seats for a sportier, more luxurious character. You also get a useful 28.5 cubic feet of cargo space, plus a well-equipped cabin with navigation, a digital instrument panel, a panoramic sunroof, and leather trim. For you, that means this model fits best if you want a premium SUV that emphasizes style, refinement, and strong road manners over maximum space. Good and great deals make up 42.2% of listings, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2022 Audi Q8 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2022 Q8’s standard setup is straightforward and upscale, with a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6, quattro all-wheel drive, and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Audi also equips it with a broad list of standard features, which can help reduce the need for immediate add-ons after purchase. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a premium, technology-heavy SUV can be more expensive to keep in top condition if prior maintenance has been inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Audi Q8?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks the suspension, electronics, and interior condition. Because the Q8 leans heavily on touchscreens and premium equipment, make sure every feature works as intended and that wear matches the mileage. It’s also smart to pay close attention to tire condition, wheel damage, and signs of uneven use, since those can be costly on a luxury SUV.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Audi Q8?

• Deal availability: 42.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 827 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.55% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $36,776, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Audi Q8's resale value?

The current average of $36,913 sits slightly below last year's $44,232.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that the Q8’s value will likely depend on how well it holds up against other premium SUVs in the same price band. Strong condition, clean history, and desirable equipment should matter a lot when it’s time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Audi Q8 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 42.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.55% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2022 Q8 is the right pick if you want the strongest mix of value, inventory depth, and owner satisfaction in this generation. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years, but the 2022 already gives you a favorable market setup and the same core appeal: style, refinement, and a premium driving experience.
