Is the 2022 Audi Q5 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2022 Audi Q5 stands out as a premium midsize SUV that emphasizes comfort, quality, and standard equipment more than flash. Its appeal is rooted in a luxurious interior, an upmarket image, a roomy cabin, and a smooth ride, so it fits well if you want a polished everyday SUV rather than something stripped down. Is the 2022 Audi Q5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 Audi Q5 is presented as a refined, well-equipped SUV with a comfortable ride and a premium-feeling cabin, which are traits many used buyers value over time. For long-term ownership, the main risk is making sure the specific vehicle has been cared for properly, since premium SUVs can become costly if maintenance has been deferred.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Audi Q5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and confirm the vehicle has no hidden accident or title issues. Put inspection priority on the cabin, electronics, and overall condition, since the Q5’s appeal depends heavily on its premium feel and standard equipment. Focus on signs of wear that could undermine the comfort and quality you expect from this model.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Audi Q5?

This looks like a buyer-friendly market, with plenty of inventory and meaningful price softness.

• Deal availability: 44.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,729 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.41% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,975, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Audi Q5's resale value?

The current average of $24,975 sits slightly below last year's $29,877.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the current pricing means there may be less room for appreciation, so condition and mileage will matter even more when it comes time to resell. If you keep the vehicle well maintained and present it cleanly, you’ll be in a better position to protect value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 44.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,682, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $24,975 average.
• It adds a plug-in hybrid option for buyers who want electrified driving.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $29,681, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $24,975 average.
• It offers a more attractive, tech-rich cabin with a calmer daily driving feel.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around pick if you want a well-equipped luxury SUV at a softened market price. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better value path; if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling alternative, the 2023 is worth a look.
