The current average of $23,720 sits slightly below last year's $26,761.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. Should I buy a 2022 Audi Q3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 40.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $20,877, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,720 average.
• It offers engaging driving dynamics with useful technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better-rounded shopping environment, the 2022 is the stronger primary choice thanks to its lower current pricing, solid deal availability, and updated features. If your top priority is saving money upfront, the 2021 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition and can live with its older setup.
