The Audi Q3 is one of the brand’s best-selling models, representing one of the most popular types of cars today. This compact SUV was redesigned for the 2019 model year, and it gains newly standard features and newly available technologies for 2022, including a new MIB 3 infotainment system.
Trims for the Q3 are Premium 40, Premium 45, Premium Plus 40. The Q3 receives a newly-standard Aluminum Spectrum inlay. The Premium trim comes standard with Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and a power rear liftgate. For 2022, the Q3 also gains Audi Side Assist with rear cross-traffic alert and Audi Parking System Plus as standard equipment.
The Premium is available with the Convenience package, which offers auto-dimming, power-folding side mirrors (with memory), eight-way power front seats with memory for the driver’s seat, and a Homelink garage-door opener.
For 2022, the Premium Plus trim now comes with a 360-degree top-view camera system. This joins features such as wireless device charging, Band & Olufsen premium stereo, and Audi’s Virtual Cockpit, which replaces the conventional instrument panel with a digital panel. For both 40 and 45 versions of the Q3, Gray Natural wood trim is available as an a la carte option.
The Premium 40 and Premium Plus 40 are powered by a 184-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Moving up to the Premium 45 or Premium Plus 45 upgrades output to 228 hp. Both versions route power through an eight-speed automatic transmission, to Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive (AWD).
Base MSRP for the 2021 Audi Q3 is $35,995 for a Premium 40. The Premium 45 starts at $38,295. The Premium Plus 40 starts at $39,295, while the Premium Plus 45 starts at $41,595. The Q3 is backed by a four-year, 50,000-mile limited warranty.
