Used 2021 Toyota Supra for Sale nearColumbus, OH

How much does the 2021 Toyota Supra cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 224 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2021 Toyota Supra a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Drivers consistently praise its sporty performance, fast acceleration, and eye-catching design. The review summary also points to strong handling and the kind of attention-grabbing styling that makes the car feel special. On the other hand, some shoppers note limited interior space and missing features in base models.

That lines up with the overview: you’re looking at a compact, attention-grabbing sports car that prioritizes driving enjoyment over everyday practicality. The trade-offs include a poor ride, poor visibility, and no manual transmission, so it suits you best if you want a focused sports coupe rather than a do-everything commuter.

There are 32.1% good or great deals in the market, which suggests you can still find attractive pricing if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 Toyota Supra reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. Review feedback also points to a reliable, trouble-free ownership experience, with drivers describing it as a car they can count on over time.

The expert notes reinforce that impression by describing the powertrain as smooth, strong, and well sorted, with responses that feel dialed in from the start. The cost-effectiveness notes also highlight that the car’s performance and engineering come from a premium BMW-based setup, which supports the sense of durability and refinement.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright dependability and more about whether the car has been driven and maintained in a way that matches its sports-car mission.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Toyota Supra?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a sports car like this can attract harder use than the average used vehicle. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on signs of curb rash, tire wear, brake wear, and any evidence of track-style driving. You’ll also want to confirm that the car’s equipment matches the trim and package claims in the listing.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2.0 is the more affordable entry point, while the 3.0 adds more power and a more upscale feel. The 3.0 Premium swaps microfiber for full leather, and the base model is the one most likely to leave you wanting more equipment.
• Powertrain: You get a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four with 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, or a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six with 382 hp and 368 lb-ft. Both use an eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, auto high beams, and knee airbags for driver and passenger. Blind-spot monitoring, rear emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control are included in the Safety and Technology Package.
• Infotainment: All 2021 coupes have an 8.8-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay, navigation, and a 12-speaker JBL stereo are included with the Safety and Technology Package.
• Fuel efficiency: The 2.0 averaged 28 mpg in testing and matches its combined EPA rating, while the 3.0 is rated 22/30/25.

Which 2021 Toyota Supra trim should I buy?

The 2021 Toyota Supra is offered in 3 trim levels: 2.0, 3.0, and 3.0 Premium.

Here's the short version:

• 2.0: This is the value play if you want the Supra look and handling at the lowest entry price. It still gives you the core sports-car experience, but you give up some of the stronger braking and more composed ride quality that come with the pricier version.
• 3.0: This is the best-value trim if you want the full Supra experience. It brings the stronger inline-six, more power, and the more complete performance package that makes the car feel most special.
• 3.0 Premium: Choose this if you want the upgraded leather interior and a more upscale cabin feel. It makes the Supra feel more polished, but it’s the least budget-friendly choice.

The Safety and Technology Package is the key safety-package upgrade to look for, since it adds blind-spot monitoring, rear emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, and the JBL audio system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Toyota Supra?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, so it rewards patience and comparison shopping.

• Deal availability: 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 224 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 78.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,319, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Toyota Supra's resale value?

The current average of $47,612 sits slightly above last year's $47,498.

That small increase suggests the market has stayed stable rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For you, that means the Supra has shown enough pricing consistency to avoid looking like a fast-depreciating outlier.

Because the model also has strong enthusiast appeal and a distinctive identity, it should continue to draw interest from shoppers who want a focused sports coupe. That helps support future resale strength, especially if you keep mileage and condition in check.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Toyota Supra safe?

The 2021 Toyota Supra has not been crash-tested by NHTSA or IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, auto high beams, and knee airbags for both the driver and front passenger. Blind-spot monitoring, rear emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control are included in the Safety and Technology Package, so you’ll want to confirm whether a used example has that option.

The main caveat is that this is a low-volume sports car without published crash-test results, so you should pay close attention to the car’s condition and equipment history when shopping used.

Should I buy a 2021 Toyota Supra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds two engines and a more refined, better-equipped setup than the earlier return-year model.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $50,891, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $47,612 average.
• It marks the Supra’s long-awaited return and emphasizes the car’s comeback appeal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $50,701, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $47,612 average.
• It keeps the same driver-focused formula with the choice of turbo four or turbo six.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, performance, and market availability, the 2021 is the smart default. If you’re shopping on a tighter budget, the 2020 can still make sense if you find a clean example, but you’ll want to compare condition and equipment carefully. If you want the same basic formula and are willing to pay more, the 2022 is a reasonable alternative, though it doesn’t clearly undercut the 2021 on value.
