Used 2021 Toyota Supra for Sale near Ohio

How much does the 2021 Toyota Supra cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

With 206 listings available, you have a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2021 Toyota Supra a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Toyota Supra earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

Drivers consistently praise its sporty performance, fast acceleration, and eye-catching design. The car also stands out for its great handling and powerful engine, which fit its focused sports-car mission well.

The trade-offs are just as clear: the ride quality is poor, visibility is poor, and a manual transmission is not available.

For you, that means the Supra makes the most sense if you want a distinctive, driver-focused coupe rather than a practical daily commuter. 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2021 Toyota Supra reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a car that feels dependable in the ways sports-car shoppers care about most: strong performance, fast acceleration, and a driving experience that owners clearly enjoy over time. The expert notes also reinforce that the powertrain is smooth, quick-shifting, and well sorted, which supports confidence in everyday use.

The 2.0-liter turbo four is described as very strong and very linear, while the eight-speed automatic is praised for quick shifts and responsive kickdown behavior. That combination suggests the car should feel consistent and easy to live with if you keep up with routine maintenance.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about accepting a tightly focused sports car with limited practicality.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Toyota Supra?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the ride quality, visibility, and overall condition of the cabin and exterior. Since this is a low-volume sports car, it also makes sense to pay close attention to how well the car has been maintained and whether any modifications were made.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2.0 is the more affordable entry point, while the 3.0 adds more power and a more upscale feel. The 3.0 Premium swaps microfiber for full leather, and the base model is the one most likely to leave you wanting more equipment.
• Powertrain: The 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four makes 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, while the 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six makes 382 hp and 368 lb-ft. Both use an eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, auto high beams, and knee airbags for driver and passenger. Blind-spot monitoring, rear emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control are included in the Safety and Technology Package.
• Infotainment: All 2021 Supra coupes have an 8.8-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay is included with the Safety and Technology Package, along with navigation, a 12-speaker JBL stereo, and four years of smartphone access.
• Fuel efficiency: The 2.0 averaged 28 mpg in testing and matches its EPA combined rating, while the 3.0 is rated at 22/30/25 mpg.

Which 2021 Toyota Supra trim should I buy?

The 2021 Toyota Supra is offered in 2 trim levels: 2.0 and 3.0.

Here's the short version:

• 2.0: This is the value play if you want the Supra experience at the lowest entry price. It still delivers strong acceleration, sharp handling, and the same standout styling, but you give up some power and the more upscale feel of the six-cylinder model.
• 3.0: This is the better choice if you want the full Supra character. The inline-six brings much stronger performance, and the 3.0 Premium adds full leather for a more polished cabin. It is the best fit if you care most about speed and overall execution.

The Safety and Technology Package is the key safety-related upgrade to look for, since it adds blind-spot monitoring, rear emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Toyota Supra?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 206 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 78.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,317, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Toyota Supra's resale value?

The current average of $47,495 sits slightly below last year's $47,610.

That small decline suggests the market has been stable rather than volatile, which is usually helpful if you plan to resell later. A steady price pattern can make it easier to estimate future value because the model is not swinging sharply up or down.

The Supra’s distinctive styling and strong enthusiast appeal should help it stay on shoppers’ radar. If you buy well and keep the car in good condition, you are more likely to preserve value than if you chase a poorly maintained example.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Toyota Supra safe?

The 2021 Toyota Supra has not been crash-tested by NHTSA or IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-keep assist, auto high beams, and knee airbags for both the driver and front passenger. Blind-spot monitoring, rear emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control are included in the Safety and Technology Package.

Because this is a low-volume sports car, you should pay close attention to the available driver-assistance equipment on any used example you consider.

Should I buy a 2021 Toyota Supra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 78.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds two engines, including a more affordable four-cylinder option.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $49,920, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $47,495 average.
• It marks the Supra’s long-awaited return and emphasizes the car’s comeback appeal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $50,835, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $47,495 average.
• It keeps the same driver-focused formula with updated performance-focused appeal.

The bottom line: The 2021 is the best all-around pick if you want the strongest mix of price, inventory, and enthusiast appeal. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2021 still gives you a compelling path into the Supra nameplate without paying the higher averages seen in the adjacent years.
