Used 2023 Toyota Supra for Sale near Ohio

Is the 2023 Toyota Supra a good car?

The 2023 Toyota Supra earns a 7.3/10 expert rating, and the standout strength is Performance at 9/10. The 2023 model’s big story is the arrival of a manual transmission, which broadens its appeal if you want a sports car that feels more involving and rewarding to drive. That fits the Supra’s core mission well: it’s a balanced, precise, enthusiast-focused coupe that already stood out for its handling and available six-cylinder engine.

The trade-offs are real, though. Advanced safety features are not standard, and the car can suffer from buffeting when the windows are open. Even so, if you value driving enjoyment above practicality, the Supra remains a compelling choice. 26.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Toyota Supra reliable?

The 2023 Toyota Supra is presented as a well-equipped sports car with standard safety tech and a strong warranty package, which helps support confidence for used buyers. ToyotaCare adds a 2-year, 25,000-mile complimentary maintenance plan that covers factory-scheduled service and roadside assistance, which is a useful ownership perk early on.

Its performance hardware is straightforward for the segment: a turbocharged four-cylinder or turbocharged six-cylinder setup, rear-wheel drive, and the new manual transmission on select versions. The manual’s short, precise throws and the engine’s broad torque delivery suggest a drivetrain built for durability-minded enthusiast use, not just headline specs.

For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is less about the basic mechanical concept and more about how the car was driven and maintained before you buy it.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Toyota Supra?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on body condition, signs of hard use, and whether the car’s equipment matches the trim you’re considering. Because this is a low-slung sports coupe, condition matters as much as mileage.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base 2.0 is the entry point, but it comes with a smaller four-speaker audio system and fewer tech features than the 3.0 trims. The 3.0 Premium and A91 add more equipment, and the A91 can be outfitted with hazelnut leather.
• Powertrain: The 2.0 uses a turbocharged four-cylinder with 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The 3.0 uses a turbocharged six-cylinder with 382 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque, and the manual transmission is offered only with the six-cylinder setup.
• Safety package: Automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with steering assist, stability control, traction control, and brake assist are standard. Adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear automatic emergency braking are available on the 3.0 Premium and A91.
• Infotainment: The 2.0 uses an 8.8-inch touchscreen with a four-speaker stereo, Bluetooth, USB inputs, AM/FM/satellite radio, and no CarPlay. The 3.0 adds a 10-speaker stereo, while the 3.0 Premium and A91 add a 12-speaker JBL system, navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, voice recognition, and wireless charging.
• Fuel efficiency: The automatic six-cylinder is rated at 22 mpg city, 30 mpg highway, and 25 mpg combined. The manual six-cylinder is rated at 19 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 21 mpg combined.

Which 2023 Toyota Supra trim should I buy?

The 2023 Toyota Supra is offered in 4 trim levels: 2.0, 3.0, 3.0 Premium, and A91.

Here's the short version:

• 2.0: This is the least expensive way into the Supra, but it’s also the most stripped-down. You get the turbocharged four-cylinder and the core sports-car shape, but the tech and audio setup are basic, and it does not get the manual transmission.
• 3.0: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it brings the stronger six-cylinder engine and the more satisfying overall performance experience. If you want the Supra’s character without stretching to the top trims, this is the one to target.
• 3.0 Premium: This is the trim to choose if you want the most complete mix of performance and convenience. It adds the richer tech and comfort equipment, including wireless Apple CarPlay, navigation, a JBL audio system, and available driver-assistance upgrades.
• A91: This is the most feature-rich version and suits you if you want the Supra with the most upscale presentation and equipment. It builds on the 3.0 Premium’s content and can be outfitted with hazelnut leather.

Blind-spot monitoring is not standard, so if that matters to you, focus on the 3.0 Premium or A91.

Is the 2023 Toyota Supra safe?

The 2023 Toyota Supra earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with steering assist, stability control, traction control, and brake assist are standard on every Supra. That’s a strong baseline for a sports car, especially since Toyota makes these systems standard even on manual-transmission models.

If you move up to the 3.0 Premium or A91, you can also get adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear automatic emergency braking. The main caveat is that blind-spot monitoring is not standard, which matters in a car with small windows and a snug cabin.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Supra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 26.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• The manual transmission finally arrives, making the Supra more engaging for enthusiasts.

Consider the 2022 if:

• It offers the same driver-focused coupe formula with a strong performance focus.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the Supra’s biggest enthusiast upgrade: the manual transmission. If you’re mainly shopping on price and don’t care about the stick shift, the 2022 can still make sense as a lower-cost path into the same basic formula.
