Used 2021 Tesla Model X for Sale nearSanta Barbara, CA

Is the 2021 Tesla Model X a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Tesla Model X earns a 4.67/5 user rating, which supports its appeal as a large, all-electric family SUV with unusual packaging and serious performance. The 2021 model year also brought a major overhaul, including a redesigned interior, updated powertrain, new electrical architecture, faster infotainment, updated Autopilot hardware, and a more premium cabin feel. If you want a distinctive three-row EV with strong acceleration, long-range capability, and a feature-rich interior, this model fits that brief well. 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2021 Tesla Model X reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2021 Model X’s appeal comes from its updated hardware, improved infotainment, and extensive standard equipment, all of which point to a more modern ownership experience than earlier versions. Its all-electric layout also removes many traditional maintenance items you’d expect on a gas-powered SUV. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the vehicle’s condition and history are clean, since a complex premium EV can be costly if prior care was inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Tesla Model X?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.4% — always verify the vehicle history report. You should also prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the Falcon Wing doors, interior electronics, and overall fit and finish, since those are the kinds of areas where condition matters most on a premium used SUV. Because this model leans heavily on advanced tech and convenience features, you’ll want to confirm that everything works as intended and that the cabin shows normal wear for the mileage.
