Used 2020 Toyota Camry for Sale near Pompano Beach, FL

How much does the 2020 Toyota Camry cost?

Prices have softened 3.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,166 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare on price and equipment.

Is the 2020 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Toyota Camry earns a 4.71/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

Drivers consistently praise its reliability, comfort, and great fuel economy, and many also like its stylish design and smooth ride. The Camry’s updated all-wheel-drive availability and sportier TRD version broaden its appeal beyond the usual family-sedan crowd.

The trade-offs are that some owners want more horsepower and more advanced options, and a few mention a learning curve with the newer technology features. For you, that means the Camry makes the most sense if you want a practical midsize sedan with broad appeal rather than a pure enthusiast pick.

With 32.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s meaningful shopping room if you compare carefully.

Is the 2020 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 4.71/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to reliability, trouble-free ownership, and the kind of dependability you can count on over time. The expert evaluation also reinforces that impression by emphasizing Toyota’s reputation for quality, reliability, and value, along with the Camry’s strong long-term appeal.

ToyotaCare adds two years or 25,000 miles of free maintenance and roadside assistance, which helps reduce early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure prior maintenance and recall history are clean before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Toyota Camry?

At 53.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle-history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has had bodywork or shows uneven wear. Focus on condition details that matter most in a used sedan: interior wear, tire condition, brake feel, and whether the technology and safety systems work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lower trims feel well finished, but the base setup leaves out some convenience and safety equipment that appears on higher trims.
• Powertrain: You can shop a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with front-wheel drive, the same engine with all-wheel drive, or a 3.5-liter V6; the four-cylinder is the efficiency play, while the V6 is the stronger but less economical choice.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense is standard and includes pre-collision braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning with steering assist, and automatic high beams; blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is optional.
• Infotainment: Lower trims use a 7-inch screen, with an optional 8-inch upgrade; Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and some trims add remote services and a larger display.
• Fuel efficiency: The front-drive four-cylinder XLE and XSE are rated at 31 mpg combined, AWD drops that to 28 mpg, and front-drive V6 models are rated at 26 mpg, except the TRD at 25 mpg.

Which 2020 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?

The 2020 Toyota Camry is offered in 7 trim levels: L, LE, SE, SE Nightshade, XLE, XSE, TRD.

Here's the short version:

• L: This is the least expensive entry point, but it is best avoided because moving up to the LE brings a much better mix of equipment and value.
• LE: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it opens the door to useful options like all-wheel drive and the convenience package with blind-spot monitoring.
• SE: This is the better choice if you want a sportier look and feel, including synthetic leather seats and more color choices.
• SE Nightshade: Choose this if you want the SE’s equipment with blacked-out exterior trim and black 18-inch wheels.
• XLE: This is the comfort-focused pick, adding more luxury equipment such as leather upholstery and dual-zone climate control.
• XSE: This is the best fit if you want a more upscale, better-equipped Camry with the same luxury-oriented upgrades as the XLE plus a sportier personality.
• TRD: This is the enthusiast trim, with the 301-horsepower V6, lowered suspension, beefed-up brakes, and high-performance tires.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, but blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert remains optional rather than standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Toyota Camry?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,166 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.39% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,622, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $19,940 sits slightly below last year's $20,640.

That price movement suggests the Camry has softened enough to help you buy more selectively today, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive market if depreciation continues at the same pace. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting your loss later because you’re starting from a lower entry price.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.71/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Toyota Camry safe?

The 2020 Toyota Camry earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA and Top Safety Pick+ from IIHS.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense is standard and includes a pre-collision system with emergency braking and pedestrian detection, dynamic radar adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning with steering assist, and automatic high beams. Every Camry also includes Safety Connect, 10 airbags, stability control, and a backup camera.

Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is optional, and Bird’s Eye View is available on higher trims for a 360-degree parking view. One caveat to keep in mind is that Toyota’s safety suite is not quite as comprehensive as in some other Toyota models.

Should I buy a 2020 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.71/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Toyota added all-wheel drive and the TRD trim for 2020, broadening the Camry’s appeal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $18,680, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $19,940 average.
• It offers strong safety and a free maintenance plan.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,722, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $19,940 average.
• It adds updated infotainment and Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the right pick if you want the updated Camry formula with all-wheel drive and a broader trim mix at a lower price than the next model year. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2019 can save you money, but the 2020 is the better all-around target if you want the newer features and stronger market selection.
