Used 2020 Toyota Camry for Sale near Florida

How much does the 2020 Toyota Camry cost?

Prices have softened 2.56% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,225 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Toyota Camry earns a 4.7/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

Drivers consistently praise its reliability, comfort, and great fuel economy, and many also like its stylish design and smooth ride. On the trade-off side, some owners want more horsepower and more advanced options, and a few mention needing time to get used to the newer technology features.

In practical terms, that makes the Camry a strong fit if you want a midsize sedan that feels secure, efficient, and easy to live with. It also lines up well if you value a more upscale cabin and a car that feels a bit more distinctive than the typical family sedan. Good and great deals account for 32.1% of listings, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to reliability, dependability, and a trouble-free ownership experience, with drivers also describing it as a car they can count on over the long term. The expert review also reinforces that theme by emphasizing Toyota’s reputation for quality, reliability, and value.

ToyotaCare adds free maintenance for two years or 25,000 miles, which helps reduce early ownership costs. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the specific car you choose has been maintained properly and hasn’t picked up avoidable wear or repair issues.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Toyota Camry?

At 51.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has had any prior damage or repair work. Focus on overall condition, signs of uneven wear, and whether the equipment and features work as expected. If you’re comparing multiple listings, the cleanest example is often worth paying a little more for.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lower trims feel well finished, but the higher trims add leather and wood, and the lower trim levels can feel less equipped than you might expect.
• Powertrain: You can choose a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with front-wheel drive, the same engine with all-wheel drive, or a 3.5-liter V6; the four-cylinder is the efficiency-minded choice, while the V6 is the stronger performer.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense is standard and includes pre-collision braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning with steering assist, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is optional.
• Infotainment: Lower trims get a 7-inch screen, with an optional 8-inch upgrade; Android Auto is standard, and Toyota also includes Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa compatibility, and a three-month SiriusXM trial.
• Fuel efficiency: The front-drive four-cylinder is rated at 31 mpg combined in XLE and XSE trim, AWD drops that to 28 mpg, front-drive V6 models manage 26 mpg, and the TRD is rated at 25 mpg.

Which 2020 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?

The 2020 Toyota Camry is offered in 7 trim levels: L, LE, SE, SE Nightshade, XLE, XSE, and TRD.

Here's the short version:

• L: This is the least appealing choice because it is the most stripped-down version, and the content suggests you should skip it in favor of a better-equipped trim.
• LE: This is the best-value starting point if you want a sensible Camry with access to useful options like AWD and key convenience upgrades.
• SE: This trim adds more color choices and better interior trimmings, including synthetic leather seats instead of cloth, making it a good pick if you want a sportier feel without going all the way up the range.
• SE Nightshade: This is the style-focused version, with blacked-out exterior trim and black 18-inch wheels.
• XLE: This is the sweet spot if you want more luxury equipment, including leather upholstery and dual-zone climate control.
• XSE: This is the more upscale sporty choice, pairing the richer equipment with the Camry’s more expressive design.
• TRD: This is the enthusiast-oriented model with the 301-horsepower V6, a lowered suspension, beefed-up brakes, and high-performance tires, but it is the least practical choice for most shoppers.

Toyota Safety Sense is standard across the lineup, while blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert remains optional.

What is the 2020 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $19,931 sits slightly below last year's $20,455.

That softer pricing suggests the Camry has become a bit more buyer-friendly in the used market, which can help you if you’re shopping now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment rather than just the badge alone. Well-kept examples with desirable features should hold up better than average.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense is standard and includes a pre-collision system with emergency braking and pedestrian detection, dynamic radar adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning with steering assist, and automatic high beams. Should I buy a 2020 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 51.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Toyota added all-wheel drive for the first time since 1991, and the TRD brought a 301-horsepower V6.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $18,594, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $19,931 average.
• It offers strong safety and free scheduled maintenance.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,592, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $19,931 average.
• It adds updated infotainment, a better driver-aid package, and more trim variety.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of price, safety, and year-specific upgrades, the 2020 is the strongest all-around pick. If your budget is tighter, the 2019 can save you money, while the 2021 makes sense if you want the newer tech and broader trim selection.
