Used 2020 Subaru Impreza for Sale nearPittsburgh, PA

How much does the 2020 Subaru Impreza cost?

Prices have softened 1.95% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 762 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and conditions.

Is the 2020 Subaru Impreza a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Subaru Impreza earns a 4.67/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its ride quality, handling, and fuel efficiency, and they especially value the confidence that comes with its all-wheel drive. That fits well if you want a practical compact car that is easy to live with and still feels composed in everyday driving. With 38.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2020 Subaru Impreza reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also highlights dependable everyday performance, with owners repeatedly calling out its trouble-free feel, long-term usability, and the confidence they can count on from its all-wheel-drive setup. Minor complaints are mostly about convenience and trim details rather than core durability. For used buyers, that suggests the bigger ownership risk is less about the model’s basic reliability and more about finding one that has been well maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Subaru Impreza?

At 66.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, especially if a listing looks unusually cheap. Put inspection priority on body condition, signs of prior repair, and any uneven wear that could hint at harder use. It also makes sense to focus on overall condition and maintenance records, since those will matter more than small cosmetic issues when you’re comparing similar cars.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Subaru Impreza?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 762 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.95% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $15,974, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Subaru Impreza's resale value?

The current average of $16,726 sits slightly below last year's $17,058.

That softer pricing suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to sell soon. Even so, the model’s steady owner satisfaction and practical appeal should help it remain recognizable to future shoppers. If you keep the car in clean condition and maintain it well, you should be in a better position when it’s time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Subaru Impreza or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.95% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $17,546, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $16,726 average.
• SI-Drive became available on the Premium trim.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2020 is the stronger starting point because it combines lower average pricing with solid owner satisfaction. If you’re willing to pay more for a slightly newer model and a modest feature update, the 2021 is the cleaner alternative. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2020 is the more compelling choice.
