The 2020 Subaru Crosstrek gets minor changes for 2020. Since it’s not a major year for the Crosstrek, the exterior design remains the same. However, two new colors join the palette: Magnetite Gray Metallic replaces Dark Gray Metallic, while Pure Red replaces Venetian Red Pearl. The Crosstrek comes standard with a 2.0-liter flat 4-cylinder boxer engine, which delivers 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque. The CVT-equipped Crosstrek comes standard with Subaru EyeSight driver-assist technology. This includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, sway warning, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and pre-collision throttle management. A reversing camera and a rear-seat reminder are also standard. Blind-spot monitoring, lane-change assist, adaptive headlights, and rear cross-traffic alert are the only safety options. The Crosstrek scores a Top Safety Pick+ from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) when equipped with the EyeSight package and adaptive headlights.
